Hi, I have a brand new Panasonic TH-42PV7HS Plasma TV. TV shuts down without warning etc while normal viewing or changing channels. Turns back on after switching off power for sometime. What is the cause for this problem and any solution to set it right? akns
CHANGE P.A BOARD. THIS BOARD IS FOR TUNNER VOLTAGE..IF THIS BOARD IS BAD, THE LED FLASH 10 TIMES IN RED AND THE TV NO TURN ON.
Are you sure about the model number? I went to the Panasonic service website and could not find any info....Is there any info on the back of the unit such as chassis number G-9 G-10 etc?

Yes. it is a model specifically launched for Singapore market and being sold in Middle East, Russia and India as well.
mine also shuts down. right after the ankles are stright up in th air.
After the tv has bben on for a short while, it will automatically shut off. If you wait a few minutes, you can power it on again and it will stay on for a while. It seems to be happening more as time goes on. We have had the TV for 5 years.
I have a panasonic 46 in. lcd that keeps shutting off and turning itself back on. The problem is getting worse and it is getting very difficult to keep it running at all now. I have had it at a tv repair shop for 2 weeks and they seem to be unable to solve the problem. The tv is only 2yrs old.
all of a sudden the tv shut down and the red indicator light on the front of the tv was flashing. is it maybe an over heating issue
tv shuts down by itself and you can manually turn it right back on but it keeps shutting down
Same here. Mine started shutting down (while turned off) after 2 yrs of use. I was unable to turn it on and the light just blinked. 1st time I paid a Sears technician to look at it and he unplugged it and waited a few minutes then plugged it back in and it worked fine for a couple of weeks, then started again and unplugging it does not do the trick anymore.
