Frigidaire filter status light will not reset

Refrigerator - Water Filter Indicator Light Will Not Shut Off After you change the filter the RESET WATER FILTER must be pressed and held until the red light goes off.

Note: If you do not hold the pad in, the light will stay on. Also, if you hold the pad in for a long period of time, the light will go off and then come back on.

If this does not turn the light off, having it checked by a service technician is recommended
Here is a list of refrigerator manufacturers and how to reset the filter change indicator light:
Amana- Press and hold the Auto and Dispenser Lock buttons until the water filter status indicator light flashes.
Frigidaire- Press and Hold the Reset Button Until the Indicator Light Flashes.
GE General Electric- Press and Hold the Reset Button for around 8 Seconds.
HotPoint- Press and Hold the Reset Button for around 8 Seconds.
Jenn-Air- Press and Hold The Water and Lock Buttons until the Water Filter light flashes.
Kitchen Aid- Press and Release the Light Button 5 times Quickly.
Maytag- Press and Hold The Light and Lock Buttons until the Water Filter light flashes.
Samsung- Press and Hold the Ice Type and Child Lock Buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.
Whirlpool- Press and Release the Light Button 5 times Quickly.

I understand that the order filter light is showing on your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# DGHF2360PF, and you want to know how to reset it. What you will need to do is press and hold the Water Filter button on the Ice & Water Dispenser control panel for three seconds. When the display changes from Red to Green, the status has been reset. Most models also have a filter indicator reset button located in the same area. After changing the filter, reset the filter status light by pressing the Filter Indicator Reset button or by pressing and holding the Filter button for 3 seconds. The status light will change from red to green or the status display will change from "Replace" to "Good" when the system is reset.

If your model has a water filter indicator, but no reset button, press the light switch in the refrigerator compartment 5 times within 10 seconds to reset the system. The status light will change from red to green when the system is reset.

The water filter status light, located at the top of the refrigerator

compartment, will help you know when to change your water

filter cartridge.

Style 1 - Standard status light (on some models)

When the water filter status light changes from green to yellow,

this tells you that it is almost time to change the water filter

cartridge (90% of the filter life has been used). It is recommended

that you replace the base grille water filter cartridge when the

water filter indicator light changes to red OR water flow to your

water dispenser or ice maker decreases noticeably. See

"Changing theWater Filter Cartridge" later in this section.

After changing the water filter cartridge, reset the water filter

status light by pressing the light switch 5 times within
10 seconds. The water filter status light will change from red to
green when the system is reset.

Afer you change the filter and have run the water for about 1 minute you then hold down the light & lock button together and this should turn the change filter light off.

I discovered by sheer luck that if I hold down the OK button for a few seconds the filter indicator changed from the flashing 1% to 99%.
