All Flat screens remain in standby with an amber light ion, that is normal and it speeds up start time when turned back to active mode.

It is staying in stand by mode because a usable video signal cannot be found, I would first try changing your cables and possible y even change your video inputs example switch from Componet to HDMI or SVIDEO or visversa.

You MUST have an input signal on the port the TV is set to, or it will automatically go into standby. Blu Ray machines take forever to "boot" and during this time do not output a signal. You must have active signal to the desired port. TV should come out of standby after a signal is sent....

if there is a stanby switch for the remote, turn it off. wait for a few minutes then turn it on. operate the remote.

my bush lcd tv keeps staying in standby mode and wont go on if it does go on its only for a minute or two....

if the router goes on to stand by mode or sleep mode the wireless will stop to work . for this go in to the routers page and turn of the sleep mode or stand by mode and this will fix it
