We have a Sharp AR-M455N printer and a few days ago it stated that the toner needed to be replaced. We put a new toner in and it started printing dark lines all over the documents. After that we cleaned and all was good. Then 1 more day later no matter how dark you put the exposure setting it keeps getting lighter and lighter. HELP!!!
The ink toner is is now infected by foriegn matters by effecting the printer laser head.Tries air compressor machine blow out the ink toner print head ink injector and laser printer print head.Wait about and hour reinstall the the ink toner to the printer,the toner should work find again.Not the ink toner is not saveable,must have be replace for normal operation again.

Do the black lines only show up when useing the adf???? Or do they show up on both the adf and the copyboard glass??? If it is only when using the adf...... The fix is easy.... you have to clean the smaller piece of glass that is to the left of the copyboard glass with windex or rubbing alchola. If it is with both you may need a new drum and blade or a new ufr... Good Luck

Check for scratches on the drum surface. If you have ran a lot of copies on there, its a good time to get it serviced. It could be the cleaning blade on the drum as well.

Dear sir; This error code means "scannor memory" problem, don't worry, we can reset it, the procedure as follow;
1, make sure you are in copy mode , then press "p", "*", "clear", "*".
2, enter 16 press start.
3, press "CA" to end simulation.
