Ilo TV,32", storm last night, lightning struck, pop,no TV.help?

When tvs are struck by lightning most of them are beyond repairs and if successful they always give problems in the future.

tried to reset the tv first, if struck by lightning the tuner will be damaged or the main board but since the tv is still working so i think not the lightning was the main cause.

depending on the model remote and if the remote controls the volume and power, then yes you should be able to..let me know if you need more help or if you have the remote type.

There is internal fuses in the power supply but this would mean removing the back of your tv, They would need to be replaced with the same ampage ect.... so read the fuse carefully.
Having said this i would be suprised if thats all it was considering it was struck by lightning, but you may be lucky
Check your power supply first for any obvious signs of damage if it is fried then take the part number of the board and Google or Ebay for a replacement.

I am sorry but I am unsure of what you are asking. If your tv wont do anything right down to not turning on I suggest you either take it to a repair shop or contact FUNAI CORPORATION.

its a vertical problem could be bad cap or possible vertical i.c. okay take to tv shop is their still a warrany on this set sounds pretty new shad

hi thanks for the question i would guess the motor but man thats a hard one if the dryer was hit by lightning it could have caused a fef problems myself i would call my insurance company tell them you were hit before you call the insurance check all appliances in your house you may find other problems thanks the appliance doc

when electrical storm was going on the t.v. was on ? if it is was then return electrical / heavy lightning it may burn the parts.shorting through your mains and anteena conections, please clarify

you can't buy any parts for any iLo product. I too have gone through that run-around with wal-mart and iLo. Wal-mart will not even offer a refund on that tv.
