To replace the cover plate on an electrical outlet, simply unscrew the screw from the plate, remove the plate, then replace with new cover and screw in. You can get new cover plates at Walmart or Home Depot. Most come with 1 screw, but some have 2.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- opcom 2010
The problem is that the lens/laser is weak and need to be replaced. Since it was reading disc and now it cannot read any disc anymore, that confirms the problem. To replace the laser/lens of the playstation 3. Please follow the steps below:
Safely turn off the playstatiion 3,
Disconnect it from the power outlet,
Leave the unit to dissipate its high current in about 6 hours before starting to work on it,
Open the top cover of the PS3.
Pull out the power plug for the Blu-ray drive.
Carefully pull up the Blu-ray drive and unclip the data cable ribbon from PS3 drive.
Remove the two silver screws on top right and bottom right,
Unscrew the 3 black screws to the left as well,
Remove the top metal shielding of the Blu-ray drive, exposing the guts.
Remove the top frame now that we are inside to reveal the laser (unscrew the screws)
Once that is done you should be staring at the Blu-ray laser.
Remove the Blu-ray lens screws,
There are more screws to remove,
There you go after removing all those screws the laser should easily come out, simply repeat the process for another working Blu-ray drive and extract its Blu-ray lens or just simply buy a replacement part (part #kem-400aaa) and insert it in the Blu-ray drive and start screwing it back on.

hello there,
the problem simply is that the lens is old and weak, cleaning it would not solve it but replacing it would be very ok.
to replace it, you look for a compatible replacement lens, then unscrew the dvd player, you would screw out the cd clipper that is above the lens, then you carefully disconnect the lens and replace it, try a dvd before screwing back to see it is working before you screw the case back on it.
hi from uk not too sure on elantra but will try to help? if car is hatchback ? lift up hatch and look at the water drain channel alongside lamp? if there are 3x screws? unscrew and lift lamp off then unclup bulb/lamp board from lens bulbs are bayonet fitting if saloon then open boot look to rear of lamp in boot for either clip on panel or carpet covering lamp rear remove and look for some kind of nylon head screw bolt/s or 10 mm nuts? that my hold the lamp in place to body? or you may ?find the bulb/lamp board is simply a clip in to the lens assy as 1st example ? in that case just unclip and change bulb/s with no need to remove lens assy with a little patience you will succeed hope this helps
assuming you mean the bulb only, from behind simply unscrew 1/4 turn the lamp socket and replace. dont touch the bulb, it will shorten its life. suggest wearing rubber gloves or holding with a paper towel.
if its the lens assembly, that should unscrew from the back, look at your new lens assembly as a guide.
