Problems power on or what ?

Hi There, You probably have a blown out fuse. Unless your a service tech with a service manual, it may be hard for you to locate where the fuses are. A panasonic service depot could give you a proper estimate.
Thanks, mr cicmo

this happens if the camera was set to record in a different TV system than the one that the computer operates..Look into the camera menu and change the shooting mode from PAL to NTSC or the other way around..after that all the new footage will be import-able..
for the ones you already have read this article for the instructions..
This can be happening cause you bought the camera from a different country that uses the PAL system and in the US the NTFC system is used...
here is the article to make some light on how to convert and use the other ones..

http://majorgeeks.com/FreeUndelete_d4407.html FreeUndelete restores deleted files, including those removed from Windows Recycle Bin. In case of accidental removal of files on a NTFS (1.0 and 2.0) (default for Windows Vista , XP, 2000 and NT), FAT32, FAT16 or FAT12 file systems this is the utility to help.
Supported file systems:
NTFS 1.0, NTFS 2.0, FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32
The recovered files are saved into a new user-selected location to prevent overwriting the deleted files on the original media. hope this helps
