Cannot print PDF's downloaded from Gmail

Your need to do this ONCE.
1. Download and install Adobe reader.
2. Save any PDF file on desktop.
3. Right button of the PDF file and under properties, OPEN with select Adobe reader.

Now you should be able to open and print PDF file attachments,

It could be your adobe acrobat reader responsible for PDF documents

If you can print using other applications definitely it has nothing to do with printer.

Try downloading latest version of acrobat reader from adobe website.
Unintstall the acrobat reader software from your PC in ARP (add remove programs)

reinstall the latest version of adobe acrobat reader

Problem 3: "Error Locating Object Handler" You receive an error message that says "Error Locating Object Handler" while trying to download a document. This is because there is a dependency with a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat while using Internet Explorer.

Problem 4: Unable to Print You have successfully downloaded the pdf, can view it on your computer screen but are unable to print. This is due to a post script error with your printer.
Solution: In any Acrobat Reader program: File > Print > check the Print As Image box > OK
Problem 5: "Adobe Reader could not open file" You received the error message "Adobe Reader could not open 'filename.pdf'" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
Solution: Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0: Edit> Preferences> Internet> make sure the Display PDF in Browser box is not checked.

What program did you use to open the PDF? If you opened it with the default program, you probably used Adobe Reader which does not allow you to edit PDFs. You can import PDFs into several Office suites with add-ons. For example, Open Office 3 has a PDF add-on that lets the PDF be opened and modified in Draw and Impress. There are also online PDF editors and some low cost alternatives to Adobe Acrobat is the full program that makes PDFs. PDFill PDF Editor gets some good reviews

You need to have a program to view these files.

Adobe reader is freely available on the internet. After loading this file onto your computer, click on the file you want to see and it should automatically open Adobe and allow you to view it.
