Are you getting spark on plug? Check to make sure wire is connected to plug, if still not starting. Is fuel getting to plug? Remove plug an see if its wet. If its wet it could be flooded. If not fuel lines are common on saws, tank in is a major problem it cracks an need replacing. Have you checked the on off switch? If it still wont start, carb is more than likely the problem. Remove it an get a rebuilt kit, they are cheap, carefully remove all parts clean out all orifices even small ones with a piece of brass or steel bristle from a brush, use carb cleaner to clean the parts, carefully put it all back together an it should start. That is about all there is.

Saw wont start, getting fuel and spark

Try starting it with the air filter removed. If it starts, clean the air filter. It could also be the fuel filter. If you replaced all the fuel lines, make sure you didn't get the oil line mixed up with a fuel line

I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, rotor on a 1997 chevy s10 truck and still it won't start. we checked for spark and there is spark. we are now checking the fuel relay but don't know

you need 3 things, air, fuel, and spark. if u have spark coming from all plugs, then ur good there, if you have fuel, and it still wont start, it may be the maf sensor or one of the other airflow sensors such as the map sensor.

1995 ford contour cranks but won't start, change fuel filter, fuel pump, and spark plugs. Not getting any spark.

Have you ever heard of testing before replacing parts ? Fuel pressure an flow tesing , testing the electrical circuit for the fuel pump , amp draw testing , voltage drop testing etc... Thier are no magical fixes in auto repair . No spark ! check B+ voltage an ground circuits for the ignition system , Ignition System Designs Operation and Testing an SD Premium video

My Mitsubushi Space Star Car won't Start. What can I try?

spark plugs are deep in the head yet you should get all the the old fuel out first, stale fuel wont ignite and will also clogg fuel filter. you need a mix of atleast 70% new fuel even then its not good for the injecters. If its a manual gearbox a tow start is a quick fix although no go for auto's. cant be much wrong if car was fine when parked, plugs-fuel-filter and possibly fuel pump for sure. If that doesnt fix take plug out put in lead and crank engine to be sure you have spark even just put any plug you know works in lead leaving your plugs in engine just to check for spark y turning over engine looking for spark on plug good spark will be blue but any spark is good.

I have an 2003 ford expedition that just stopped . i first changed fuel filter, fuel pump, cleaned injectors, changed filters, spark plugs, cleaned throtle, then had it checked further and tjhe mechanic...

Probably the inertia switch for the fuel pump..You owners manual should show you where its located..See if the button has pop up ..If it has push it back down until it clicks..If it wont stay down then hold it down and see if it will start..If it does you will have to replace it..If thats all good then check the relay for the fuel pump..

Lawn mower will not start

check gas tank with light is there dirt in tank? did you change fuel filter? is there spark at the spark plug? try a 2 second spurt of starting fluid in carburetor and crank does it fire?if it does then you most likely need to clean carburetor with carburetor cleaning spray, flush fuel lines with spray and swap fuel filter.
