Freezer not uniformly cold

7 is coldest, 1 not so cold. If there is a 0 it's used to defrost.

If you hear the fan then it might be sticking on defrost mode.

It should have no problems down to -30 deg C or -20f

But it may sweat on the outside if it is damp and cold, which can cause corrosion of the casing.

Below the above temperatures the thermostat will not operate

Hi, I think you have tell wrong model . Please try find out the temperature controller. Your freezer should able to adjust temperature from 0 - 18 Deg. F

9 is usuly the coldes setting on the freezer. It needs 24 hrs to get to the setting that you put it on.

check to make sure door seals are touching the frame all round, could be an air leak,also make sure there is no ice build up around the inside casing. if so fully defrost unit,clean all vents/drain pipe, then turn back on and leave it for 24hrs (freezers work beast when full).....and door shut..how many times have you closed door after them????

7 should be the coldest settiing but when adjusting allow 24 hours for the temp to adjust

Since this is a new freezer it should be serviced by the people who sold it to you in order to avoid any warranty conflict. The fan blades of these units are of a slip fit onto the motor shaft. It is possible that the fan blade has come off the motor shaft.

Sounds like a defrost system problem. Could be related to defrost timer, heaters or defrost thermostat. Have it serviced.

I would be more worried about constant power disruptions
