You can bypass this whole problem by just removing the Media card and putting it into your computer directly. Copy/paste from the media card to the PC. I do it All the time and it's quicker than waiting for the camera to download.

SOURCE: Cannot send Lumix pics online from my PC

How did you download your pics from your camera to the PC? The camera utilises JPEG photos, so there should be no compatibility issues.

SOURCE: cannot download all of pictures onto pc.

First of all, you should forget about using the internal memory...it just causes problems (as you can readily see). Always use a memory card. If any of the pics on your camera are important, you should download them to your computer before continuing. Then, go into the menu and find "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then, with the card out of the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then insert a blank memory card and go into the menu and find "format" again...follow the on-screen instructions. From this point on, your life will be wonderful.

The easiest way would be to connect the camera to the computer via USB once you have it connected you should be able to view all the photo's on the camera's memory. From there you should be able to drag and drop the photos to where ever you'd like to put them on your computer.

Please ensure you are using the included USB cable to connect the camera to the PC. Then turn the camera on. You will then be prompted to select a USB mode. Choose "PC".

I need to download a driver for my FinePix JV300

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

You don't need any special software.

How do i transfer saved images from the PC back to the camera? I have loaded the pics onto my laptop and for some reason the pics have gone from the memory card. Can i get them back onto the camera??

For most cameras, this is not only not possible but, even trying it can cause problems with your camera. If your pictures are being automatically deleted after downloading, it's usually because the program you use for downloading is set to do that. If you don't like that feature, you will need to go into the settings area and change it. Or, you could just download to a folder you create on your desktop. That way, your pics are still on your memory card and you can now send the pics in the folder to any program you like.

Hi, I sure hope you guys can help me out! I am trying to download some pics from my computer onto the 4GB memory card in my Canon Powershot A460, but the camera won't let me. The reason I'm doing...

Sorry, no. The camera will let you read the card to transfer pictures to a computer, but it will not let you write to the card to transfer pictures the other way around.

You can buy a card reader that plugs into the USB slot on your computer. Despite the name, a card reader will also let you write to the card. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear as another hard drive.

The card reader will also be a better way to download pictures from your camera. It's likely to be faster and won't run down your camera's batteries.
