If you have changed the shock absorbers and the washer still has a bad vibration in spin, the rear drum with bearing might need to be replaced. On this washer the bearing is not sold separately, the entire rear drum will have to be replaced. This is a very involved repair and will require disassembling most of the washer. However, if this is the problem it is going to get worse very quickly and so either the drum and bearing will need to be replaced or the washing machine.

I had same problem. It was actually wearing out the rubber gasket on front door. It ended up being the spider on back of drum. They corrode pretty good with the front loaders.

  • speedhump692 Apr 23, 2015

The spider will break if it vibrates that badly. Prevention is better than cure though.

  • speedhump692 Apr 23, 2015

The machine must be set up level. otherewise it will vibrate badly. Slide the machine away from where it stand, and using a long spirit level ( mine is 24 inches) findout which of the four feet is highest.. Screw in that foot fully. The measuring carefully ascertain the difference in level of the other feet. Adjust the feet accordingly and move the machine back in place. Verify that the machine now stands level

SOURCE: LG Washing Machine stops spinning in mid cycle

IE:

• Water supply is not adequate in
area.
• Water supply taps are not
completely open.
• Water inlet hose is bent.
• The filter of the inlet hose clogged.

Solution:
Check another tap in the house.
Fully open tap.
Straighten hose.
Check the filter of the inlet hose.

UE:
• Load is too small.
• Load is out of balance.
• The appliance has an imbalance
detection and correction system. If
individual heavy articles are loaded
(bath mat, bath robe, etc.) and the
imbalance is too great, after several
attempts to restart the spin cycle the
machine will stop and the error code
will be displayed.

Solution:
Add 1 or 2 similar items to help
balance the load.
Rearrange load to allow proper
spinning.

SOURCE: my washing machine showing an OE error before end of cycle

OE error is noyhing but an Outlet Error.. OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter. Check the hoses (drain hose) and the pump filter but if it didn't cure the problem then turn the thing upside down and strip the pump out of it check if anything is caught in the impellor.. if so remove it and everything will be fine..

SOURCE: Bad vibrations/shaking with LG washing machine WM2032HW

What's the exact model of your washing machine? I'll need this to get you exact part numbers.
If you're looking for a quick and cheap fix that works. Try installing a rubber anti-vibration pad under the washer. I've had the best luck with a pad called Silent Feet. They are pretty hard to find in stores but Amazon.com carries the full line of Silent Feet anti-vibration pads. They will provide you with the best results short of replacing the full shock isolation assembly in the washer. And they cost a lot less.

What causes my frigidaire top load washer to vibrate and make rattling noise during spin cycle

There are springs and bumpers/shocks in the machine that hold the tub. When they break or come loose, the tub wobbles.

How do I fix the last few seconds of spin that vibrates off balanced and aloud noise.

All front-load washing machines have shock absorbers that are used to dampen the tub movement in the spin cycle. The shock absorbers or struts are attached to the base frame and to the outer tub and you will need to remove the front panel or the rear panel to access them. When shock absorbers weaken or become damaged, the machine will often make a loud banging sound during the spin cycle and if the symptom is not corrected, can lead to damage of other components. Inspect the shocks for signs of broken attachments, leaked fluids or a weakened dampening action and replace both shocks if worn. Remove power from the appliance before attempting this repair.

Some models of top-load washers use tub dampening straps to cushion the movement of the tub during the spin cycle. There are four straps attached to the top of the tub and to each corner of the cabinet

Also There are four suspension rods that suspend the tub and allow the tub to free float. If the suspension rods are noisy, there will be a squeaking noise during wash. You can fix this by putting bearing (lithium base) grease in the cup that each rod rests in. If it continues to squeal replace all four rods the cups come with the rods, replace them as well.

If your washer has a loud banging noise during spin the balance weight may be loose. This weight is to counter act the weight of the motor so you will find the weight directly behind the motor. Sometimes simply tightening the bolts will fix your issue but if the bolts are stripped out get some bolts slightly longer than the original bolt to allow you to put a locking nut on the bottom side of the mounting plate. If the weight is broken replace it.

Lastly Washer vibration can be caused by a broken counter balance spring. Ur washer may be equipped with one or more counter balance springs which help to absorb the natural movement of the spinning tub. If a counter balance spring fails the tub might lean in one direction more than another and it will shake and cause vibration.
By the way my advice is free cuz God is good!

Washer has recently started to vibrate significantly during spin cycle. The vibration occurs on all load sizes and types. If washer is run empty it does not vibrate during spin cycle. Can this be...

I would check to make sure the machine is level. Check and see that all four legs are firmly planted on the floor with the lock nuts securing the legs. Open the door and look at the wash tub. It should sit centered in the door. It should not sag in any direction. Then remove the bottom panel and check the shocks to see if any one is broken. Hope this helps you.

Wachine machine bangs when on spin cycle.

Unless your top loader is set firmly on concrete and leveled to perfection, the force of a heavy wash load spinning in excess of 1000rpm will create a bit of vibration and noise.A firm footing is your best defense against to much movement.
Also due to the earlier movements during the spin cycle, the shocks that are used to dampen the spin cycle might have been broken or damaged.
If the problem persists inspite of proper levelling, please do check for the shocks or might have them replaced them for good.
