PS3 wont reboot when I hold the power button down for 10 seconds. There are no lights going on at all. There are a flash of red lights on the controller for a few seconds and then they turn off also

okay do this again turn your ps3 off. Then you hold power till it turns on then keep holding until it turns off. Then do it again till it beeps 2 times you have to be quick or it wont work.If this dont work you need to send your ps3 in for repair as the power port may bhe faulty or power board.I could fix this if i had the ps3 right on hand i do have the newest ps3 and havent had any problems yet.get back at me with more info on this.if it works or if it dont still get back at me.

Three-year old 47" Samsung LCD. At first, some pixelation, usually correctable by turning TV off then on again. This situation lasted months, getting slightly more frequent each week. More recently, the TV...

1. the motherboard might be bad and you will need to replace it. 2. or The power supply is bad
Chances are if its making clicks the power supply is bad and you will need to replace it. Which makes sense because constantly powering the tv on and off will damage the power supply or possibly short out your motherboard. These things usually cost about 200 bucks to fix at a local tv repair store.

Your Caps on the PSB- Power supply board are on their way out. Pretty soon it won't turn on at all. You will only get the Fault code blinking LED at startup. Recap the UF capacitors on the PSB. Works 90% of the time.

Wont come on

Instead of just unplugging the TV, perform a power drain:
1. Unplug the product's power cable so the device is not grounded to the house. 2. Press and HOLD the product's own power button for 1 minute to drain the capacitors. 3. Plug the product back into a wall outlet and try to turn it on.
Note: This procedure works with battery operated devices as well so remove the batteries and hold down it's power button.  Electricity can remain in capacitors and on circuit boards enough to prevent normal functionality. By clearing the residue electricity, your product will have a fresh start and many times this will resolve a buggy or non-responsive device that appears to be dead.
If the TV still won't turn on, then it appears something is wrong with it's mainboard since the TV is still receiving power because the standby light is still coming on.  The cost of fixing an older TV's mainboard could be costly or impossible if the part is discontinued.

MY SONY TV WONT TURN ON, AND THE STANDBY LIGHT FLASHES RED

unplug the tv for 30 seconds or so, plug back in and turn on, if this does not fix the problem, unplug the tv for a longer period of time (30 mins) and attempt to turn on again

this should get ya going again if it is simply a power fluctuation problem (real common) if not post back with model #

Please take the time to give this solution a fix ya rating
