Try another HDMI source (borrow a friend's BluRay for example} to confirm it is the TV at fault. If it still doesn't work, the TV needs a main board replacement because all the HDMI circuitry is on the main board. this usually happens after a power surge or lightning storm, and a near hit is all it takes, Sometimes, if you have a Satellite Receiver it too might be damaged on its HDMI output. So 1st try another source..IF you replace it yourself be sure to find the right board by using the TV's service # example 32LC7D-XX.XXXXXXX.. The letters where I have Xs are very important and must be matched,

32LC7D-AB.AAUYLJD is that the number I need to find the main board?

  • larry lease Mar 31, 2014

Yes, that appears to be a correct number, so now you'll have to find the part number for the main board by using that service number. I can't help you with that as my refernce material does not contain your service number

SOURCE: pc to tv

Try changing the resolution on you computer. That TV may not handle the current resolution setting. You may also have to do something on your computer to turn on the rgb output.

SOURCE: "No signal" sign on TV screen using HDMI selector

it sounds like a refresh issue, double check you selector and make sure it fits the refresh of the tv. i had this once with a sharp where the tv was 120hz and the selector was 60 and it created a no signal and when it did come in it was jumpy. if you have a 120 tv then selector should be the same.

SOURCE: Sony Bravia does not recognize my Dell Inspiron 1525

I have the 1525 and you have to do extra steps each time you want the HDMI to be recognized by the Bravia - too bad it is not automatic as it is with some. Anyway what you have to do is have the HDMI cable connected from laptop to TV then go to your desktop - right click on an open area (away from icons), a menu will appear, let the cursor hover over Graphics Options - you'll then see Output To...then you'll see Intel Dual Display Clone...hover over that and you'll then see Notebook + Digital Television...left click on that and you should see your desktop on the TV in a few seconds. If it does not work the first time...get your movie or whatever you want to show up and ready and go thru these steps again...stupidly complicated aye? when it should automatically detect and show...are other TVs like this?

Does the LG 32LC7D television receive digital signals

Almost all TV's can receive digital (over the air) signals as long as you have a powerful enough antenna. This is different than the digital signals from cable TV, which are processed through the cable box then input into your TV (best way is HDMI connection). Check your TV manual for how to set up over-the-air broadcast capabilities.

My lg plasma Tv hdmi ports will not work?

Have you tried different HDMI cables?
Have you tried switching the ends around?
Are you sure you changed your TV inputs to the correct one?
Not all LG TV's will sense an HDMI connection and offer to switch to the new input.

I know it sounds ridiculous but I had an HDMI Cable break just sitting there. Also they now have HDMI Cable that are Unidirectional, you can plug them in backwards.

I have just acquired a new lg tv as a free gift from sky. My problem is u can't tune it in either auto or manually. I don't have a aerial just hdmi skybox

You will not be able to tune in TV stations unless you first have a TV antenna installed. Once connected to a working antenna the set should find stations easily enough ?

But you do not need to tune anything in to use it with your skybox -simply connect the skybox to the TV using an HDMI cable (available anywhere that TV's are sold) noting the number of the HDMI socket that you plug in into on the TV. Then, using the TV's remote, set the TV to input signal from that input (HDMI 1 for example) and you should be fine?

Roku stick dosent do anything. ...? Plugged into hdmi slot on tv and also plugged in power cord to roku and nothing pops up on my tv...? Iv tryed to reset but dose nothing. ... help???

Did you change the TV input setting on your TV to the correct HDMI input? Most Televisions will take a few seconds to scan the input before displaying any image. Most newer televisions have multiple HDMI inputs, and you might need to select each one, wait several seconds to see if there's a signal, and then move on to the next input, until you find which HDMI input has the Roku start screen signal.

Try a different HDMI cable, then try the other HDMI inputs on the TV, then try to connect another HDMI device to the TV. If all are still bad main board needs replaced

No signal from HDMI mode when I switch on the TV

HDMI is an input to the TV not an output. You select the appropriate input e.g hdmi 1, hdmi 2 on the remote. There can be a return signal the other way but the cable has to support that. Try a different hdmi cable.
