You may need to replace the motherboard in the device. It is possible to do the repair yourself if you feel up for it. Check out Gadget Menders or a similar place that sells the parts. There are how to videos on You Tube that shoe you how to do the repair as well.

Try holding the main power button and the home button down until the unit shuts down. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons. After it resets, check to make sure that the iOS is updated to the latest version. Hope this helps.

How can you make samsung galaxy tab a keyboard from stop working???

Before you reset your tablet (assuming it is an iPad)? Go to the gears icon (settings) next select general, scroll down till you find the Background App Refresh. From there you can see every app that is running and that essentially starts when you restart your iPad. Now just go through and select the apps you don't want to run upon start up. Or just shut them all off. This only tells the app not to run unless you are using it.

When I try to engage Siri she says she cannot make the connection and I should try again later. I have iOS 10.0.2 installed. I have shut it off and restarted but the problem remains

Siri troubleshooting: Siri's not working at all on my device. Which iPhone/iPad models can run Siri? If Siri isn't working for you, the first thing to check is your model of iPad or iPhone - older devices can't run Siri, even if they update to a newer version of iOS. Siri is available on the iPhone 4s and later, on the iPad 3, iPad 4, and all iPad Pro, iPadAir and iPad mini models, and on the 5th- and 6th-gen iPod touch models. Plus the Apple Watch and 4th-gen Apple TV, of course Siri troubleshooting: How to turn Siri on If it's not working at all, Siri might be switched off. Go to Settings > General > Siri and make sure the top slider (next to Siri) is on, and green.

How can I transfer music from a flash drive like leaf bridge to my iPad Air and then have that music stored in iCloud?

You can attach some flash drives to Apple's $29 iPad Camera Connection Kit. (If you have an iPad with a Lightning connector you'll additionally need Apple's $29 Lightning to USB Camera Adapter.) Let me underscore some. Some flash drives require more power than the iPad can provide and won't work.

For the second question, here's also a guide to help you back up iPad music to iCloud.
  1. Connect your iPad to a Wi-Fi network.
  2. In iOS 8 or later, tap Settings > iCloud > Backup. ...
  3. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on.
  4. Tap Back Up Now. ...
  5. Make sure the backup finished by tapping Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage, and then select your iPad.
If you have a new computer, you can also backup iPad music onto it.

Unfreeze my ipad

Just hold the power button and home button together for ten seconds to reset.then press power button to restart.when thus happens it's usually because you are running to many programs, so once in a while just click home button twice and swipe up any apps running in background to free up resources.

Ipad troubleshooting

Try resetting the iPad, by pressing both the home button and the on / off switch, till the iPad switches off. (can take about 10 seconds)
then switch on with the on / off switch. the white apple loge should appear and within one minute it should work again. If the light stays off, contact an Apple store and ask a Genius on the Genius bar.

How do you permanently delete pictures from an iPad 2 that have previously been deleted?

normally with a full restart of an iPad the cache/trash is cleared.
- but to be more safe I recommend to do a restore and connect the iPad to a computer with iTunes. Through iTunes you can do a factory reset of the device.
just be sure not to sync the photos on iTunes.
-iPad restart is done by pressing the sleep button for 5 secs.
then a slider appears where you can turn it off:

Screen display on iPad 2 changed to blue background with slight flickering. This happened while using - it did not drop. Reset has not solved problem.

Turn it over on your lap or on something soft like couch or carpet. Karate it chop it on the apple logo. Start softly and keep using more force. Folks have even used a hammer to do this but I don't advise it. You can also drop it face down on carpeted floor. Your ipad is likely stunned and needs to be stunned again to return to normal.

My ipad is stucked.

This tutorial will explain how to force your iPad to restart if it gets stuck or freezes up.
Forcing your iPad to restart will not cause any loss of data - with the possible exception of any work you were doing at the time the iPad and/or App froze, forcing you to restart it.

Click and hold down the Sleep/Wake button (located on the upper-right corner of your iPad). While you're holding down the Sleep/Wake button, hold down the Home button as well (located on the front of your iPad at the bottom). Hold down both buttons until your iPad powers off. It will reboot and start again with a small silver Apple image on the screen. It takes about 30 seconds for the iPad completely start up.
