Putting back in my ink cartridge

Since you posted this query back in August, I hope you managed to find the answer by now, but just in case you didn't, I'll respond.

As silly as it seems, I can't seem to find a simple set of instructions about how to change your ink cartridges on HP.com. Other printer product help pages has this instruction but not for your product (or I don't know how to search for it).

That said, the instructions are included in the following web page:

Again, I hope you haven't been waiting all this time for the answer to your question. In case you lost your printer's user manual, you can download another for free in PDF format from HP.com. There should be instructions in the manual that tell you how to perform basic tasks:
