Error message only prior to the rinse cycle, not filling correctl
The washer, a GE Profile Harmony( WPGT9350COPL), runs fine until the rinse cycle. For a "everyday, casual" selection, the rinse cycle comes on with about 16 minutes remaining. Just prior to this rinse cycle, an error message appears reading "Machine not filling properly, check hoses, etc".There are two test buttons below testing cold water and hot water. The hot water works fine, but the cold does not work. To finish the wash, I keep pressing the hot water test button until the maching shifts to the rinse cycle. What can I do to activate this cold water function just at the rinse cycle

when washers go into rinse cycle they use cold water so the clothes don't rinkle,i would say that you have a bad water valve located on the washer, you can try to run the wash at the beginning just with cold water,if the water comes in slow you have a bad valve, you can then run it on just hot water and see if there's a difference in how fast it fills.the strange thing is that it should pop up with an error code after 6 or 8 minutes because the washer is filling to slow, have you seen any codes come up?if it is the valve the part number is WH13X10017 and that valve is under the top console
Washers - Harmony Washer Error Message or Code The Harmony washer electronics can automatically determine if problems exist with the machine. Sometimes an error code can also be present because of things the machine cannot control: like changes in house voltage, water pressure, or temperature.
"A problem has been detected with this unit" will be displayed on the screen.
The most common solution for this message is to turn the machine OFF and then ON. However, this message will sometimes cause the control to stop the machine from working. With this type of error, the control panel will need to be reset. The following steps will allow you to reset your control.
Solution: 1.Clear the ERROR from the screen: Press and hold the MY CYCLES and BACK buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The control will display any recorded errors. Please write down what error codes are shown on your screen in case service is needed. If a MORE icon is displayed on the screen, press MORE to list additional errors. When the EXIT button appears, press EXIT. 2.Remove Power: Follow the onscreen instructions to remove power (unplug unit) and then immediately plug unit back in. 3.Clear Setup Mode: After power is restored, a setup screen that begins with "Congratulations..." will be shown. DO NOT PRESS the OK button shown at the bottom of the screen. Press the START/STOP and POWER buttons simultaneously until the Home Screen is displayed. Your unit is ready to function normally.
hi, When the washer acts up in the rinse cycle, will it try and fill and then the water starts going out the drain hose? If this is the case, the drain hose is either needs to be raised to be as high as the top of the washer or, it needs to have a loose fitting where it goes into the drain pipe so it can have air **** back into the drain hose after it releases the wash water.
