The picture is fuzzy and has no color. And the cords for the back go in all the appropriate color coded holes except for the yellow. When put in its appropriate color coded hole, you get no picture at all. When put in the blue you get at least a low quality picture. Is that normal?

with the bose sound system you have to bypass the audio system through the factory amp. the factory is located behind the right side of the glove box.
SOURCE: rca cables in place of component cables
Typically the Yellow is video and Red and White are Sound. So only one is for video two are for sound normally.
Basically they are about the same thing, the only difference there will be cables are made different. Some cables are better than others at transferring signals be they video or sound. So quality might be affected slightly.

Red,black,orange,pink. bottom is yellow,hole,green,light blue/yellow
SOURCE: I tried to hook up my dvd player and i get picture
That could be a result to that TV either not having the ports you need, or you may need different cords. On my TV. With the 360 they have two cords. Red,white, and yellow and also green blue and i think red but im not 100% sure. You may need to find a different port on your TV for your cords, or do what I do and have your VCR hooked up to your tv, and your DvD player hooked up thorugh your VCR. Hope this helps and don't forget to rate ^^
(and yes that yellow and white are a necessity)
SOURCE: I have a Samsung tv that has no place to plug in
The only way I was able to get around this was to plug into use component 1 then plug the yellow into the green on the far right. The problem I now have is that I can only use component 1. When I plug a dvd or wii into component 2, it shows still shows up in black & white, even when I plug the yellow into the green. I am not a happy Samsung owner.
