I have a Bosch Exxcel front loading washer dryer and can't remove the detergent drawer to clean it. I've tried the recommendation in the manual and also looked through this site. Any ideas? also, the same machine, irrespective of whatever wash cycle you put it on, the washing process lasts for well in excess of 2 1/2 hours and sits at 1 min for ages, its very annoying. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a possible cause? Thanks

If it is leaking from the waste pump area it may be blocked by a small piece of clothing like a sock or something similar! This will also cause it to take too long to complete a cycle. Remove the rubber hose onto the waste pump and check inside the hose and the pump, make sure the pump spins freely and that nothing is stuck in the hose pipes leading to the pump
SOURCE: fabric conditioner drawer does not empty
The inlet to the conditioner compartment is probably blocked.
Get a thin piece of flexible wire and make a right angled bend on the end about 1" long, and poke it into all the holes u can see in the top of the dispenser compartment, particularly the ones at the front right side.
This should solve the prob.
Plz rate this solution .
Thanks
SOURCE: Fabric softener stays in drawre
We just had a tech come out to fix this problem for us. Essentially, the problem is that the fabric softener builds up and gets clogged. He cleaned out a solid hunk of frabric softener gunk, and suggested that we dilute our fabric softener with water to keep this buildup from happening again.

Starting with the rotary switch in the off position, turn it one click clockwise, press and hold on the bottom right hand button, turn the rotary switch one more click CW and release the button. The number displayed is the volume for button presses, press the centre right hand button to increase/turn off (0). Turn the rotary switch one more click CW to select end of cycle volume, agjust and set the rotary switch to off to leave set up mode.

We had similar problem, with the spin cycle not working. We opened the 'drain' pipe (front-right bottom side). It was full of lime scale; never been opened for years. We cleaned it up and the spin cycle is now working.
