No driver in Windows Vista for my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. Joystick software recognises the joystick but nothing happens when trying to use it in any joystick application.
Desprately need a suitable driver for Vista, or I'll have 3 realitively new (and expensive) joysticks to throw away. One of them is a Microsoft Sidewinder.
Shame on you MicroSoft for releasing Vista on the unsuspecting world when it dosen't even handle your own hardware products. Extreme 3D Pro will not operate in Windows Vista Home Premium. I have downloaded recommended driver / software updates, no help, when I attempt to use my JS in MS CFS1 the CFS1 program does not see the JS. I then cannot assign any buttons.Extreme 3D Pro will not operate in Windows Vista Home Premium. I have Win7-64, and able to run Wingman. If you have the CD, it is okay, you can install both the joystick and USB drive, but the better option is that you go to the Logitech site, and download the latest drivers for the Wingman. Wingman is the older version of 3D, but the drivers of Logitech extreme, 3D are workable with the old Joystick Wingman., and they should work well on the Window 7 , 64 version
Hi,
Yes the software is common for all logitech gaming devices, it's called LGS ( logitech gaming software )
So you can use it for both devices.
Thanks and have a nice day

Well you can try download lgs501.exe and run it. This scans on Logitech drivers on your system and can even update them.
( Not checked though, cause I am running on Vista )

Shame on Logitech and MS. Logitech should have developed a driver by now.
