Sony KDL46S4100 when turned on there is no picture just a blue screen

Hi,
Is this blue screen on all inputs (HDMI, etc.), or just on the one?
Does the remote control work, can you get the menu to display, is there any sound?
If no sound and picture, no menu etc., might be a software problem, the main PCB, or a missing voltage on this board.

My Mitsubishi vs-60603 projection tv has only a blue screen but I have sound. When I go to menu, the picture is in upper corner but picture is only blue when not in menu

Lol sounds like you tripped the pic in pic option.. the blue screen would probably be the feed from dvd or one of the other input options . Good luck I did that years ago and it took me forever to get out off... and a case of beer later... I think it had something to do with the pvc button on the remote.... stands for preview channel. so you could watch one and keep an eye on the other

On the DVD player the screen is blue and the sound works, but cannot get a picture. The remote will stop & start the sound, but still no picture. This unit is in a 2006 motorhome. On VHS side works...

suspect scart lead, check to see that it is firmly plugged in. Also, many dvd players have a bluescreen/screensaver function, check to make sure this ihasn't been enabled in the system set up menu.

The picture on my LTV-19w3 WH tv just shows a blue, black, or green screen with about a 4" sq. plaid patch in the upper right hand corner. Sometimes the sounds works other times it does not. Can anyone...

While the TV is on do the following:

1. Press the "Right Arrow" button on the remote.
2. Press the "Left Arrow" button on the remote
3. press the number keys in order, 1-9

I believe you are in the TV's service menu and the Blue/Green/Black are just test patters. If so, pressing these keys will eventually change the pattern..

Get to the main page of the service menu and press the [power] button on the remote.

TV turned off itself

Can you still turn it on?
If so, does it stay on with sound?

If the sound is ok and the picture is blue (even when changing channels, inputs, etc.) the lamp may have gone out.

Can you see the TV menu when you press the menu button on the remote or TV?

Blue screen

Can you see the picture?Do you have sound? It could be either the TV is in the wrong mode,or it needs work.Try changing the mode on the remote to the TV function. If that doesn't work, open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items on the boards. If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out, they need to be replaced. This should get it working again.I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please let me know.Thank You very much!
