SOURCE: how do I rotate the handlebar stem on gmc yukon xl road bike?

If the stem is installed backwards that means it is pointing at you when you are riding? To correct this you will need to remove the handlebars from the stem. This done by removing the two allen bolts front the front of the stem. Now loosen the two(may be only one) allen bolt heads on the side of the stem. Now rotate the stem. Reinstall the handlebars, front mounting plate and bolts (make sure the bolts are tight). Make sure the stem is straight and tighten the allen bolts on the side.
If the stem was installed incorrectly it may be a good idea to have the bike checked over by your local bike shop to insure nothing else is installed/adjusted incorrectly.

Hope this helps. If you need any other help you can contact me at [email protected] Thank you

SOURCE: Denali GMC 700C Women's road bike wrong tires!!!

I know people will not agree with buying there, but Walmart bike tires are 5-15 dollars each and tubes can be 5-12 dollars each. Roughly 40 dollars to replace two tires and tubes. Keep that in mind when you go to buy a used bike on Craig's List that has two flats. Dawn, new rims can be cheap or expensive. I would assume that if you bought a bike that it has the correct rims and tires on it. Is this a question of not wanting "balloon tires" versus road bike tires?

Replace brakes for denali 700c

just go to a higher end brake pad that should work.First make sure the cable is adjusted properly, that could be the whole problem. Maybe you're just used to the bike now and are going a lot faster than you used to.

Dont know how to remove and install front wheel on gmc denali road bike 700c

If the wheel has nuts (not bolts) on each side you just need to loosen each one enough to remove the wheel.

How do i raise up the handlebar assembly?

Usually, there is a bolt in the center of the stem assembly, you crank it counter clockwise 2 to 4 turns and tehn tap it with a hammer. This releases the wedge and you can move the assembly up. There is an upper limit marked on the stem, be lower than that.

Denali GMC 700C Women's road bike wrong tires!!!

Can you explain why you think the tires are too big? Do they NOT fit the rims? What condition was this bike in when you bought it? If the brake pads line up with the rims then the wheels are correctly sized for the frame.

How do I move the breaks

I assume you want to move the brake levers to another position on the handlebar. Don't - they are where they belong. Your local bike shop or library bike book can show you how to use them properly. Either may suggest you use a different style of handlebar; listen to their reasons and make up your own mind. Finally, the cable from each lever runs underneath the handlebar padding or tape; if you want to move the lever more than a fraction, remove that tape. Then find the shallow groove on the outer side of the lever body, underneath the rubber lever hood - use a 4 mm allen down that groove to loosen the attachment band

The housing of my brakes on the handle bars is loose and keeps moving. how do i tighten it so that it stops moving when i apply pressure on it and/or squeeze the brake lever??

If the screw is all the way tight and still slipping ... try to find a fatter part of the handle bar to mount the grip to. You will probably will not find any such that is convenient for you to continue to use the brake ... remove the grip, wrap some electrical tape around the handle bar, reattach the grip. Tighten it and give it a try.

I hope this works for you
