In the camera menu system there should be a place to choose the size of the JPEG file. Try find a setting with 'small' or something.
If you don't fint it, try check the manual... Good luck! :)

Internal camera memory is only 7 pictures, so I bought a 2mb memory card and can not download pictures. PC does not recognize UB port. Went to camera menu and touched 'format' and camera deleted all...

Well, first of all, format completely erases the card so those pics are lost. In the future, use a card reader to download your pics to a folder you create on your desktop.

In addition to Nikon's EC-CF series, the COOLPIX 950 may be used with the following CompactFlash Cards: • SanDisk Corporation's SDC-FB4/8/15/30/40/48/64/96 • Lexar Media Corporation's CF016/032/048/064 4× USB, CF016/032/ 048/064/080 8× USB and CF128/160 10× USB

How do i put pictures from my computer onto facebook

Hi!

here's how:
Log in on facebook... click on profile....select Photos tab.. Click the "+ Create a Photo Album" button....Enter the name for the Album and click "Create Album"..... the best so far and the fastest to upload pictures to facebook is by using the "Simple Uploader... Click the :Try the simple uploader button, just under the "CANCEL" button....browse the picture from your PC, and select 5 of this to Upload. Check the box for terms of use and click Upload Photos...
That it.. its simple.

However, on some occasion this will not upload pictures with larger size....My suggestion to you is to download Image Resizer software... Install this software to your computer... To use this.. find your pictures and right click to it.. Click the resize picture and it will copy with a smaller size (pictures with 2mb will resize to almost 80 kb... then select all pictures with lesser size and let this be the one to be uploaded..

Hope this help.
Much appreciated if you rate this help.. thanks

Problems when connecting Canon Powershot A70 - Cannot find program to upload pix

The popup would be the windows wizard wanting to assist with downloading image files. There's 2 popups one is the wizard and you'll click on transfer images & it walks you step by step to download the images. The other one is just a one click option & you can copy the images files to your computer. But since those options don't seem to work for you - one solution would be to click on "my computer" and you'll either find your camera or memory card listed along side your computers C drive. If you're downloading images from the camera - it needs to be hooked up via the cable + the camera probably needs to be turned on. Some cameras also have a setting or button to turn in order to download the images.

How can I store more pictures in the camera?

The standard 2MB internal flash memory stores either 60 standard resolution images or 30 high resolution images. EPSON Accessories offers the PhotoSpan 2MB memory module (A882401) which increases picture storage to 65 high resolution or 130 standard resolution images. The PhotoSpan 4MB memory module (A882411) makes it possible to take 100 high resolution or 200 standard resolution images.
