Ok, first thing's first:  Youtube is currently up and running.
Having stated that, it sounds like your browser is hanging on to a saved cookie (may be malignant) or a saved offline web page.
You didn't really state which Browser you are using, but if you are using Internet Explorer, then you should go to your browser and click on>     tools > Internet Options
Look at the section called 'Temporary Internet files'
Click on the buttons that say "Delete Cookies" and "Delete files"  (or adjust the wording acording to your version).
**IMPORTANT:  After this is done,  you will no longer be able to automatically sign on to websites where you have chosen to keep your login information.  You will need to sign on again.
Good luck...

When i try to search for video it gives Sever error 502 continually?

Reset your router and reconnect to Youtube. Its a Youtube problem, having issues connecting to you. It could also mean Youtube is under maintenance.
If that doesn't work just try refreshing until the video appears.
And if THAT doesn't work come back later.

When i click on youtube it comes up with bad request and something about port80

Are you trying to access Youtube from work? Some companies setup firewalls and it maybe blocking Port 80, which is typically the port for Web Servers to bust thru firewalls to connect to the outside world.

I go to youtube and it says 400 bad request , WHats wrong?

Hi
If "your browser sent a request that this server could not understand"
and "size of request header field exceeds server limit", your request
is a bad or oversized cookie. (The same thing is true for "Error 400").

For some very strange reason, it seems 9 of
10 Bad Request messages implicate Firefox.

Simply delete your "Cookies" and everything
will be okay. Don't worry about erasing them;
nothing bad will happen. You won't lose your
internet browser's "Bookmarks" or "Favorites".
The worst thing that could happen is you will
be asked to retype your username/password
when you return to YouTube and some other
websites -- that's all.

As you're dumping your cookies, you should
also erase all your "Temporary Internet Files"
and "History". This will render your computer
totally "fresh" in YouTube's eyes. It would be
best if you shutdown / reboot after doing this:

Internet Explorer 6:
> Tools > Internet Options
> Delete Cookies > OK
> Delete Files > OK
> Clear History > Yes
> OK

Internet Explorer 7:
> Tools > Internet Options > Delete...
> Delete files > Yes
> Delete cookies > OK
> Delete history > OK
> Close (browsing history window)
> OK

Peace,
B
