This Sunbeam 5891 unfortunately has not been reliable at all. The bread was not coming out right at all, the blade is turning but without enough power pull any dough down from the top of the pan. Though it might be fixable if we could take off the reinsert the kneading blade. But now the kneading blade is stuck on the shaft. Should have contacted Sunbeam sooner but during COVID there were other things to focus on. Too bad. How disappointing.
If you baked bread in it and cannot get the paddle free, put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it set for 5 or 10 min to soak the bread crust that formed between the shaft and the paddle. Then take a hold of the shaft on bottom of pan with hand or pliers to hold it still and try to work the paddle clockwise with other hand until it becomes unwedged from shaft. Sometimes it gets wedged on shaft pretty tight due to the beating against dough ball and cooked bread holds it tightly wedged.
