I sucessfully programed the AUX button on my Cable remote to my Coby DVD player (model DVD-227) using code 21107. You can also try these codes: 20778, 21086, 21351.

This Solution# 3 does not work for me:

1. RC GE-94221 does not exists, but exists GE-24991
2. For my Coby DVD 224 right code is 1112 (this published code 0947 does not work for me)
Comment: to control joystick arrows the RC need to press and hold "setup" button, otherwise < and > buttons control DVD volume, when OK - works as "Open/Close" disk. Also, "Input" works as Root Menu.
Buy yourself a GE 94221 universal remote (Home depot $6) and use DVD code 0947 to control the Coby dvd 224.

What is the sence then if you cannot work with the universal remote. Stupid! best if we advertise your product tell people about it. So you can take it off the market. lose other customers. I live in the caribbean i got my from America the person cant find the remote what should i do the DVD. You are a set of looooosers you need to get off the market. i can tell you others will here about this stupid brand call COBY.
