My roxbox suddenly only plays songs from a singer's history file. How do I correct this?

Rekordbox 6 does not recognize my old songs in the history My switch to Rekordbox6 was on the 17th April.
The library from RB5 was imported directly after (around 990 tracks)
Since then I have added to RB6 around 16 new tracks.

Im looking 4 any songs...were i can found it...?

There are many free mp3 download websites, one of the most popular and commonly used website is "mp3raid.com" (click here), open the link and type in an artist name or a song name in the search box, as an example, you can take a look here (I've typed in "taylor swift - you belong with me")
94fff83.jpg

Now click the "SEARCH" button, you'll see all the lists of songs related to your search..
27c64af.jpg

Look at the "File location...", the number 01's location is "210.29.194.26" and the remaining (currently visible) files are "4shared.com", you can choose anyone from the lists, but the download method is different.. I'll demonstrate with the Number 01's download instructions... Click the 01 link, you'll be presented with a new page:

cd445ff.jpg

Now enter the Captcha texts... after selecting the check box "I have read, understood and accept the ......." and then click "Enable listen & download"..

Again on the next page, the song will automatically begin playing... but that's not what we are going to.. listen here.. we are going to download the song...

Pause the song by clicking the Pause button, and below the player, you'll see two buttons: Pointed with two RED arrows:
7cc506b.jpg

Right click the "Download" button and select "Save Link as....", once you click the "Save link as.." another small SAVE dialog box will open up, click "save" after the saving destination is noted... That's all, you've download the song.. there's no other way to download like clicking the download button.. but if the song is Located on 4shared.com or other file sharing websites, like Rapidshare or etc..etc.. you'll be directed to the originated website and you have to follow the respective download procedures of the website/s... (I can't mention all the download procedures, but let me give you a hint, suppose if you are downloading the song from 4shared.com, you don't need to right-click the "Download" button, but you have to left-click it [normal click] once you click the Button, another page will open up where you'll see a countdown timer running, wait for few seconds.. ie... 20 seconds in 4shared.com and click "Download File Now" after the countdown timer's stopped running)...

I hope this will be enough for now.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

My 120 GB I pod classic Doesn't play the next song

Hi. Check that when you plug your iPod in that it isn't selected to "Shuffle," play which can happen if you are expecting to go through songs. There is also another reason and one I didnt know about until I took my iPod Classic back to my retailer thinking there was a problem;
If the songs on your iTunes or default device isn't an AAC file the iPod will fail to play it. On MAC systems simply click the file that you want to put onto your iPod, right click and scroll to "Get Info." If the file doesn't say it is an AAC file it won't play on your iPod. Scroll further down on the list to "Create AAC version." This takes milliseconds, doesn't affect the sound quality but condenses the data fit for the iPod Classic. Once that's done you can add any song you like.
Generally when you put a CD into a MAC it will automatically change the AIFF files into AAC which means you don't need to manually convert. AAC is usually needed when individual tracks are called up and put onto your iPod. I hope this helps you - it drove me nuts until I found out about the AAC.

Can't create playlists on my zen x fi

I tried some suggestions posted here, and after some testing, I can now give you step-by-step instructions to create a playlist on your Creative Zen.

First, you need to think of the NOW PLAYING list as the "selected songs to be added to a playlist".

So, to start clean, let's empty out the NOW PLAYING list as follows:
1) from the MUSIC menu, select NOW PLAYING
2) when a song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
3) select REMOVE ...
4) select REMOVE ALL
Now, the NOW PLAYING list is empty.

Now, you need to select (mark) the songs you want to add to your new playlist:
1) go to an individual song
2) click the context menu, and select ADD TO SELECTED
3) go to another desired song, and do step 2) again
4) repeat until done

Now, to create a NEW playlist, go to the MUSIC menu, then:
1) select NOW PLAYING
2) it will show you the first song that you selected
3) press the Right button, to scroll through all of the other songs you selected
4) when any song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
5) select SAVE AS PLAYLIST (this refers to ALL songs in your NOW PLAYING list)
6) type the name for your new playlist, and click checkmark
ALL of the songs in the NOW PLAYING list are now saved as your New playlist.

From the MUSIC menu, select PLAYLISTS. You will see the name of the playlist that you just created. When you select that playlist, you will see the list of songs you had selected.

Please note that these songs are still in your NOW PLAYING list also. To create a another New playlist, you will first need to empty out the NOW PLAYING list as you did above.

I hope that helps.

Enjoy!

Uploading problems

download the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool from:
http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1532
then get a firmware upgrade from the Sansa website

If that fails, t
here are a few different possibilities.
0.5) make sure the songs are in mp3 or WMA format
1)Your subscription to your digital music service such as Napster, etc has expired. Sorry - unless you renew your subscription, you will not be able to play these songs again.
2) Your songs have DRM-encryption on them. To check and see, right click on an individual song name in Windows Media Player, and click on "License" or "Digital Rights"; if the affected songs have DRM encryption, then get DRM-removal software.
3) Your songs do NOT have DRM-encryption on them. In this instance, follow the procedure for item#2, except click on the link in the License or digital Rights tab that says "acquire license" (make sure you are connected to the internet first).

File Error message

Sounds as if the players system is corrupt, you will either need to find factory reset or use the software that came with it to format the player.
