Other blinking lights or beeping sounds may indicate a problem with the dishwasher caused by power surges. Try pressing the "Start/Reset" pad to reset the dishwasher and wait 2 minutes. If the problem persists, reset (reboot) the dishwasher by turning off power to the unit at the house circuit breaker/fuse box for 30 seconds. Restore power and the dishwasher should function normally.
Most likely a fault (short circuit or ground fault ) within the heating elements of the dishwasher. Although the house circuit breaker will reset within a minute or so (manually of course) the built in protective devices will take more time to cool down.
The most common reset for the dishwasher is:
1. First, unplug the dishwasher power cord or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
2. Then, plug the dishwasher power cord into the wall outlet or turn the breaker back on and wait 30 seconds.
3. After that, press the Pause / Cancel / Stop button twice to clear the display.
4. Finally, start a short cycle, to check operation of the dishwasher, by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the dishwasher starts.
I have same brand dishwasher as you but different model, suggest it would still have the same fault as mine. I searched for the faulty solder join on my circuit board as per the forum and soldered the area but still would not heat. I spoke to local parts supplier who stated that heater element is not the problem, it would definitely be the circuit board. I took the circuit board to them and paid for a changeover board (approx $90 AUSTRALIAN). I went home and installed the circuit board in the dishwasher door and started it up. It does not show start up settings on display as per normal but just start the dishwasher anyway and it resets the circuit board after running a complete wash cycle (any cycle will do, doesn't matter which one you choose). All worked well after that, no problems since replacement of board.
Hello - You may reset the dishwasher by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. If it proves to be ineffective and the dishwasher does not start, may possibly have a faulty door switch.
According to this link, it should reset after the power is shut off for awhile. Maybe try holding the start/reset button too. Also check the circuit breaker or any fuses
Try turning off power to the dishwasher completely by either unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then power it back up. Sometimes this will reset it.
silly question, did you try resetting the circuit breaker for the dishwasher in your electrical panel ?
Same thing happened to me and that seemed to fix it. Leave to breaker off for about 1 minute so the dishwasher resets.
