CF-27 NO SOUND - Panasonic Toughbook CF-27 Notebook

- if you hear some ticking sound when u open it most likely it is HDD issue
- if no sound and power is not lit up it is adapter(try to plug adapter to other power outlet)
- try to drain the excess power by removing battery and adapter then press power button for 20secs
- then put the battery in try if it will turn on
(if yes,good)
(if no,put the adapter in - if able to charge and boot up it is battery issue

Donot enter model# in first slot.
Enter Computers in second
Enter Toughbook in third
Select CF-27E
Everythink is there, two pages.
Manual isn't much use.

check the settings in the bios the is a option to turn on the pc speaker and it also seems to turn on the headphone jack

Hi,
Unless you can use external power to the usb 2.0 pcmcia card, a CF-27 probly won't handle the load.
Their power adapters are only 15V and the unit itself is a P2 433 at best. It's just pulling too much power.
