My Precor 576i won't turn on. (This model uses no electricity).

  1. Power outlet problem: Make sure that the power outlet you are using is working properly and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped.
  2. Power cord problem: Check that the power cord is securely plugged into the treadmill and the power outlet. Make sure that the cord is not damaged.
  3. Safety key problem: Make sure that the safety key is properly inserted into the console. The treadmill won't turn on without the safety key in place.
  4. Control panel problem: Check that the control panel is working properly. Make sure that the buttons are not stuck or that the display is not damaged.
  5. Motor control board issue: The motor control board is responsible for controlling the power to the motor. If it is malfunctioning, the treadmill will not turn on.
  6. Electrical problem: If there is an electrical problem with the treadmill, it will not turn on.

Reebok gt60 treadmill won't run, but has power.

If the electrical outlet works, unplug the treadmill and check the power cord for damage. Replace the power cord if it's damaged. If the power cord is okay, check the circuit breaker switch on the treadmill and reset the circuit breaker switch if it's tripped.

Circut board trips electricty board

Treadmills are machines with a considerable pull of electricity. Make sure you are operating on a dedicated circuit.

Most users have the machine plugged into a spare bedroom outlet ehich is either not dedicate (power source spread out to more then one outlet) or is a GFI outlet (Ground Fault Indicator).

These outlets are used so homeowners do not overload an outlet in an area where a resident will sleep and be in danger of a fore or death.

Usually in the first few pages of your owners manual it will give you the requirements for your machine.

You can run an extension cord to another room with a dedicated outlet, but the extension cord does not transmit all the power coming out of the outlet and will eventually lead to other issues, usually electrical issues within the machine.

You can use a multimeter to see what else could be the issue with your outlet, but will want to consider having an electrician put in a dedicated outlet.

Weslco cadence 825 treadmill has no power

To use theseinstructions, you need to have a familiarity with electricity and a workingknowledge of a voltage multimeter. With all of these tests, USEEXTREME CAUTION!!! Never let the voltage ground directly to any part ofthe treadmill or your leads ground while you
are testing voltage.

1)To begin, set your volt meter to AC volts. We are going totrace the power from the wall outlet through the
treadmill to see where it ends.

2)
With the treadmill unplugged, test the wall outlet. You should have from 115 to125 VAC. Optimally, you will
have at least 120 VAC.

3)Follow the power leads from the power cord to the lead ends. With the treadmill unplugged, connect your
meter to the lead ends. Plug the treadmill in and check your reading. It shouldbe the same as your reading
from the wall outlet.

4) Continue this process with the electrical system, following theleads, as they pass through, breakers, fuses,
and the like.

5)Where the power flow ends is where your problem is. Sometimesit will be in a bad connection, sometimes
it will be in a shorted breaker or blown fuse, at times it may be as simple asa safety switch not working
properly, or it may be a major problem with a component.
6) In some cases, components work in tandem (i.e.- a controllermay need a signal from the console
computer to release voltage to the motor)

sincerely. God bless you.

Treadmill will not operate when plugged up.

check the outlet first by plunging in a light to make sure their is power and that the house breaker was not tripped. then plug in the power cord next locate the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. Switch the circuit breaker to the reset position. Then place safety key on console and the display should light up if not then you may have a lower board problem.
