How do I fix a Canon MP460 printer that feeds multiple sheets at a time, even for a one-page document, causing a paper jam?

Assumed you have cleaned out the feeding slot and sprockets that turn the feeder wheels. Often there's some piece of paper or gunk. One option that likely applies to most printers -- from another HP online source: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00190540&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en
  1. Look for paper that might have jammed inside the product. Use a flashlight to carefully view the areas around the rollers. Remove all traces of paper found.
  2. Wipe the rubber paper-feed rollers with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled or bottled water. Rotate the rollers up carefully to clean all the way around.
  1. Look for the paper pick roller farther inside the rear access area. The paper pick roller
IMPORTANT : The paper pick roller is a bit more difficult to reach; however, it is the most important part to clean. Make sure to clean it thoroughly. If this roller is not clean, the issue will likely continue.
  2. Clean the paper pick roller with a cotton swab moistened with distilled or bottled water. Apply a moderate amount of pressure to make sure that you remove all debris. Clean the roller thoroughly all the way around. Figure 8: Clean the paper pick roller

  3. Make sure that the rollers on the rear access door or duplexer are clean and in good condition. If any are missing, stuck, or loose, replace the rear access door or duplexer with a new one. Figure 9: Rear access door rollers

  4. Allow the rollers to dry completely, and then replace the rear access door or duplexer. Slide the rear access door or duplexer into place, and then gently push it in until it clicks or snaps into place.

How to change belt

it's a big job, the front cover protecting the motor unit has to be removed, the rear roller has to be loosened inwards by using the large allen key to release the tension. The front roller has to be loosened and lifted out of the treadmill (it may need cleaned to take away any rust)
The rear roller can be lifted out and then the bed (running deck) needs unscrewed (allen keys) this should slide out. The new running belt should be put in place in the treadmill, place the front roller in place, the bed and the rear roller, fasten each of them up and adjust the rear roller so that the belt runs straight and it tight enough that when walking on it, you can't stop the belt.

The belt always moves to the right side

your roller ajustments are loose, loosing all the rollers front and back, re aline belt to center, tighten front roller first then tighten rear roller, Rear roller has 2 seperate ajusting allen bolts, 1 on each side, count the turns on each bolt when turning them inward, keep the count even turns on both allen bolts

Replacing the drive belt Nordictrack 2900

basically you will be just about to take your treadmill, almost totally apart. But the are not many nuts and bolts to solving your problem, first Lay treadmill on its side and locate the rear roller bolts, on mine their are 2, most tread mills are all the same, remove them 2 bolts, Now locate the front roller bolt, 1 bolt, remove bolt, your belt is going to be very loose now, on the side that you would be walking on, Is a board, 6 phillips head screws, Hold the board to the metal frame, remove them, remove the board, then go back to the rear roller, And remove the plastic end caps that hold the rear roller too the metal frame, by gently tapping them off, remove old belt from rear roller, Now go to front roller, and remove belt from front roller, and its time to Install new Belt, AND AJUST NEW BELT, Put belt on front roller and reinstall roller, put plastic end caps back on frame, and then reinstall rear roller threw the belt and reconnect to the plastic end caps on the rear of the frame, Now reinstall the board with 6 phillip screws, to the metal frame, Now turn treadmill upright again, Its time to AJUST YOUR NEW BELT 1st Center your New Belt, Then tighten rear roller bolts, ( Pay Attention ) Count even amount of turns for both Rear roller bolts, Then Ajust front roller Alignment, Their is only 1 bolt on most treadmills, So if your belt is pulling to one side when you turn the treadmill on,it means you still have to ajust the front roller ajustment screw, What I Do Is , I USE A small leveling tool, For the front roller ajustment, It KEEPS the pitch EVEN on both sides of the front roller, and this is HOW YOU REPLACE YOUR BELT AND AJUST THE NEW BELT, and save your self some money, enjoy, in you need to contact me, kjosr@cox.net

Crescent-shaped burns on clothes from dryer

Hello Friend, Your problem is very simple to fix. You need to replace the Rear drum support rollers. To replace the Rear drum support rollers just remove front of dryer body exposing the drum, look under the drum and you will see the belt and tention wheel in front of the motor. Now, release the tention on the belt and remove belt from motor shaft. At this point you can remove the drum up and out of the dryer cabinet. Look towards the rear of the dryer cabinet and you will see the rear drum rollers. The roller on the left has a support strap held on by a press on clip. just pry this clip off and remove support bar. Now there will be a plactic triangular clip holding the roller in place. Just remove the plastic clip and replace roller. The roller on the right just has the triangle plastic clip just remove and replace that roller as well. Be sure to lubricate the roller shafts with some 3 in one oil prior to re-installing the new rollers. Make sure you re-install all of the retaining clips. After re-assymbly of your dryer if should run like new. Happy to help, Tim. And please don't forget to give me your rating for my help. Thanks.
