How to format windows 8 on he on a pre installed windows 7.

You don't 'format' Windows, I believe you mean install it. The disk drive you mention I think is a CD drive. This makes it a bit more difficult to install W8.1 (don't get W8.0, you will only have to update it), but it is possible, by downloading it. However not all PCs can successfully run W8.1 - See here first

HOW DO I UNINSTALL WINDOWS 8 FROM MY DESK TOP AND THEN REINSTALL AGAIN

did your pc come with recovery disks ? if not then their built in to your partiton.at least Hp pc's do. open computer. click drive C. open, click on Windows, click on folder SMINST. click on create cd. you can use alot of cd's to create your recovery disks or use a couple of dvds if using dvds i would use dvd+ disks. my pc don't care much for dvd- disks. when you copy them , you need to put them in a safe place. your pc will only allow you to make one copy. but i would use other software to make more copys. make sure you mark your disks in order there made.now that you made your disks. you can put them up in case your hard drive crashs. now to put a fresh 8 on your pc go to search type the word recovery manager it will ask if you want to do a bunch of things click no on all except when you get to Factory Reset click yes.that sould get what you need. you have a recovery partion built in to your hard drive.

The hard disk on my gateway dx4820-05h crashed and had to replace it with a new one. I don't have a recovery disk so I tried to install windows 8 but i'm unsuccessful. During the install process,...

You will need to buy another licensed copy of windows 8 if you didn't burn the recovery disks while the system was operational.

You might also be able to buy the recovery disks from gateway them-self. Contact gateway customer support for more information. Make sure you have the make and model number for your machine and be SURE they have the correct information or you might get a disk for another system.

How to install wins 8 on dell Inspiron netbook 1018

proceed according. God bless you
  1. Create a New Partition
    • 1 Launch the Disk Management tool on your computer running Windows 7 by opening the Start menu and typing "diskmgmt.msc" in the search bar. The Disk Management tool, showing all connected storage devices, appears.
    • 2 Pick the hard drive onto which you'll install Windows 8. The normal choice is Disk0, which is the primary hard drive. This disk should already show your C: drive, and possibly other items like recovery partitions.
    • 3 Verify the available free space on the selected disk. For most computers with no other dual-boot setups installed, the entire drive should be occupied, so you'll have to shrink an existing drive (like C:). If there is a section with a black bar titled "unallocated," then this represents free space not currently in use.
    • 4 Shrink your C: drive by right-clicking on it and selecting "Shrink Volume." The computer assesses and reports how much free space is available on the disk. You need a minimum of 16GB of free space to install 32-bit Windows 8 and 20GB of space for 64-bit Windows 8. Type either 160000 or 200000 in the "Enter the amount of space to shrink in MB" box. Increase that number if you want additional storage space for files and programs within Windows 8. Click "Shrink" to continue.
    • 5 Right-click on the new unallocated space and select "New Simple Volume." Leave the defaults, ensuring that NTFS is selected as the file system type. Give the drive a name, like "Windows 8."
    • 6 Insert your Windows 8 installation disc or USB drive into your computer. When the new drive is formatted, restart the computer and boot from your installation disc or drive.
    Install Windows 8
    • 7 Select "Custom" during the Windows 8 Setup initialization process.
    • 8 Select the new drive you created when the installation program asks you where you want to install Windows 8. Be sure to select the drive with the label you used for the new drive; if you install to the C: drive, you will overwrite your existing Windows 7 installation.
    • 9 Follow onscreen instructions to install Windows 8.
    • 10 Reboot after you install Windows 8, ensuring that you've removed any installation media. When the computer restarts, you are presented with a boot screen that lets you pick between Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Canon powershot sd850 is digital elph

Hi

No, it means the screen resolution for your computer. These days most computers should have their resolution to 1024x768. If you don't know how to change it ask somebody who knows a little about computers to help, its not a problem with your camera.

Remove previous all installation/ file if any. Insert the Driver CD in the CD ROM again a wizard interface would be active, from that wizard complete the installation by clicking Next - Next. Do not plug the camera before fresh installation complete. If wizard ask to plug your camera, then plug it.
