I don't quite understand your problem.If you mean you don't know the controles or either you can't turn it on. GAME CONTROLES: If you don't understand the controles for a game in war games the fire button is usually the top right triger if to throw grenades top left triger to move is always left thumb stick to move the camera is right thumb stick. For racing games accelerate is usually these three ( X , top right triger or right thumb stick ). Football games to pass is X to tacle is SQUARE or CIRCLE, sprint is sometimes TRIANGLE ,shoot is SQUARE or CIRCLE. TURN ON PS3:If it doesn't turn on when you press the on button.That maybe because there's a switch on the back of the PS3 that has 0 on one side and 1 on the other it's a power switch,or maybe a cable is lose.
if its not playing any bluray disc/games then its major trouble..you will have to contact sony for a replacement if its in the warranty period..had the same problem and customer care in India sucks..anyway hope its not something serious...are u getting any error code?
My ps3 freezes up every when I am playing Madden 09 and its getting real old. I have to quit my game every time because there is no other way to fix it other than quiting. It doesnt freeze all the time but it has started to alot more a few days ago. Is there something I can do about this?

job for sony as long as its still under warranty. just phone them up
explain the probs your having and they will send you a new (normally
reconditioned) unit out. sony's replacement service is very good.
EAsports says that there is a new roster update that will help this problem. I had the same exact problem when i would try and head into the offseason. Their answer was that "there weren't enough players in the free agent pool". and that's why the game is freezing. so, there are, you have to download the new roster update and start a new franchise
