Just replaced new striker pin in hammer and it still wont hammer sufficient, can you help??
MUCH NEWER BOSCH demolitionhammers have a special consumables kit you MUST use anyway its marketing technical made exactly on the calculated operating hours.
Every tools has his own kit and by the heavier models of powertools a very special lubricating oil instead of grease that was used by the older tools that are working with a
slower tapping block instead of a very fast battle piece.

Look around there for some O rings we have had this same problem with some of our Bosch hammer drills, and they usually replace a set of seals around the nose of the tool

could be a few problems, the striker could be stuck from debris or the ram might be hydraulically locked. they make a rebuild kit for this tool if you are mechanically inclined. I would suggest first going to their site and downloading a parts breakdown and there you will find what is involved and the parts listing. It is "dewaltservicenet.com" and on the left hand side type in your model number and then follow the links to download this. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Variable speed control module has failed, however you can still use the tool. Hammering action will improve with a good cleaning of internal parts and apply new grease. Hammering action is caused by air/vacuum cushion between drive piston and driven piston which inturn hits a third piston that actually impacts the bit. If third piston is worn, chipped and lodged with debris, there will be light hammering action. After use, store the hammer with the nose pointing down so that the driven piston will slide to end of cylinder and ready for next use.
