There are unfortunately areas where tv channels are limited. For example, Dorset has something like 27 available channels. If you're in the U.K., check Freeview coverage for your post code. (Using a search engine).

Hello, my wifi connection is constantly dropping, showing limited conectivity.

One of the most common causes of this is wifi channel interference. Most routers come preset to "auto" which allows them to choose whatever channel they wish to transmit on. And most use the same defaults. If you live in a relatively congested area where there are many wireless networks around, having all of them on auto can start a cascading shifting of channels to try to avoid interference. One or two shifts most devices can handle, but when it cascades, most devices just disconnect. Best thing to do is to go into the router and manually select a channel to use. Try it for a while. If you have no more problems, ok. If not, change to a different one and try again.

Do all members in a YouTube group recieve a YouTube Play Button Plaque???

https://www.youtube.com/yt/creators/rewards-details.html
Who qualifies? Any YouTube channel that has passed a certain subscription threshold qualifies for the rewards.
What are the thresholds? We have two levels of rewards: channels with over 1 million subscribers; and channels with over 100,000 subscribers.
When does a channel qualify? A channel only needs to pass the threshold once to qualify.
What are the rewards? We are recognizing those qualifying channels with 100,000 subscribers with a limited edition, commemorative Silver Play Button.
For qualifying channels with over 1 million subscribers, we are recognizing them with a limited edition, commemorative Gold Play Button.
How long will it take for my rewards to arrive? Once you have uploaded your shipping address in the rewards redemption website, the rewards can take eight to twelve weeks for processing and shipping, depending on your location.
Are there other qualification criteria? We want to recognize those channels who have honestly earned the achievement. To prevent any channel from gaming the system with falsely inflated subscribers count, we use a variety of signals to determine which channels qualify for rewards, including but not limited to subscribers, views and watch time.
Will additional rewards be given in the future? We intend to administer the program on a quarterly basis and rewards will be given out to newly qualified channels several times a year.

Wireless detection is faulty. It appears to detect some networks (usually low-signal ones), but it doesn't detect our own wireless network router which is a few feet away. I have another laptop and it...

Hi Thanks for your question.
You can try and change the channel that router is broadcasting on. This can be an issue sometimes. Change it to something popular like channel 4 or 8. I hope this was helpful. Good Luck

MEMORIES & MEMORY SCANNING:
• The 855 receives mainly via frequencies programmed into its 50 memory channels. It does not have a VFO or dial mode as such, but can scan within two frequencies.
• To scan memory channels, press SCAN. To hold a channel, press MANUAL.
• The 50 channels are divided into 5 banks (Bank 1: Channels 1-10, Bank 2: 11-20, etc.).
• Any of the 5 banks can be turned off from scanning. To turn a bank on/off, press its number while in Scan Mode. Active banks are illuminated in the display.

I couldn't locate the manual for your scanner, but it's basically the same as the BC860XLT, except that the 860 has 100 channels. Other than that, all controls and functions are the same. You can download and print the manual for the 860 here:

Motorola dvr dct6412 locked channels

Check with your provider to ensure that you are in expanded services, or limited. Because being on limited services the box will lock you out of those channels. If you are in billing for those services and you checked the batteries on your remote and they are good and you get a solid red blink when you change channels not a double blink (indicating that your batteries are dying), Then try power cycling your DVR by, removing the power supply and waiting 3sec then plug it back in. Your box should shut off, turn itself back on, then go into the load screen, then, once the load screen display shows on your tv and on box display, wait for your box to completely load (don't touch nothing until the correct time shows up, meaning that it has completed the load process) Once the process is complete turn box back on and you should have you guide back up and (No Data) on your program schedule(Don't Worry!!) it will populate, with 15-20 mins.

Now try to ch. up and down and see if that fixed the problem. also make sure nothing is blocking the sensor. If all else fails and you changed the battery, called your cable provider and request a box swap, (be sure to watch all your recorded shows because they go bye, bye with the cable guy!)

Limited access

If you have limited access, that means you need to change the wireless channel of your router. Using your wired computer, open the router's setup page by going to internet explorer and type http://192.168.1.1 and press enter. It will prompt you for username and password. By default the username is blank and the password is admin. Look for wireless tab and look for wireless channel. Change it to channel 11. Make sure to take note of the Wireless Security key as well under wireless security tab. Save the settings after changing the wireless channel. On your laptop, make sure to disable any firewall then try to reconnect to the wireless network.
