Asko W6021 Front Loader Washer Problem

Hi! Have had our Asko for several years & has always worked fine. Now it will not fill with water. Everything works as before, the power is on, the water line is fine, the door closes, the push start button clicks, but then there is no water fill, & no action at all. Would greatly appreciate any & all input! Thank you so much! :0)

I have the same washer and but it fills up with so little water my clothes are damp but barely washed after a full cycle and still full of detergent.

In the beginning I was fooling around with the washer and opened the little compartment in the bottom front of the washer and twisted a knob off ... a bunch of water leaked out before i put the knob back on ... is that bad? did that cause the water level in the washer to drastically be reduced?

Machine worked fine for 4 1/2 years but stopped working. When the start button was pushed the machine clicked and then nothing.I bought a new circuit board for $240.00 and the machine worked for one wash only and now back to the same problem.Could'nt get any info out of Asko they want me to take it to their authorised service man.

The carbon brushs in the motor need replacing,on the w6021 the fault you get is a clicking sound when you press the start button.

Asko W6021 won't fill. It clicks and starts, but no water fills drum. I've cleaned drain trap but don't know how to clean inlet filter as suggested in manual.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
The water inlet filters are inside where the hot and cold water supply hoses screw into the machine. Turn the water off, unscrew the hoses and they should be visible. However it might not be those causing the machine not to fill. If they needed cleaning the water would fill- but taking longer each wash.
If you confirm the filters are clear, it is more likely to be symptomatic of a malfunctioning water control valve- the hot water one, if the washer is hot and cold fill, or the cold one if it is just cold fill!
Sorry but it needs replacing and a service call ;-0(
Good luck,
John C

HI there, the door on my front loader was very hard to close, but the service people told me to close it really hard - slam it! and it has been fine ever since.

ASKO w6011 FRONT LOADER

Try to Open the safety compartment using a screwdriver under the wash machine in the front.
Then open the big white knodb this will cause the wate to drain out which is fine.
Then clean this out. Usually you will find coins and stuff here from years of operations from pockets. clear these out and your problem maybe fixed. worked for us
