After factory reset my media tech tablet wont load. Even after system recovery it wont load on any tool.

If your MediaTek tablet isn't loading even after a factory reset and system recovery, try these steps:
Ensure it's charged.
Check for hardware issues.
Test with a different charger.
Boot into recovery mode (search for the specific key combination for your tablet).
If the issue persists, contact MediaTek or the tablet manufacturer for support or repair.

Starts up but wont get past rainbow loading screen

Chances are, you'll need a firmware update for your Polaroid Tablet. I found a Support Site that should help you.

http://www.southerntelecom.com/polaroidsupport/updates.html

A firmware update will reset your Tablet back to its original state from when you first powered it on. So if there's anything on your device, Its going to get erased. This is why you should always back up any and all info to your PC or external drive.

If you have any trouble updating your device, call the company Customer Service Number. I found their number online: 877-768-8481.

Videos won't play

Update the media player to the newest version.
When media players go through upgrades, new codecs are often added to the player along with new features.
These new codecs give the player an ability to play videos in additional formats.
Download and install a codec pack for your computer-based media player from a codec website, like Free-Codecs.

See Below
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/k_lite_codec_pack.htm
The K-Lite Codec Pack, for instance, contains multiple codecs and works with multiple media players, which gives all of the media players that are installed on your system the capability to play any video file that uses those codecs.
Once you download a codec pack, go to the "Downloads" folder on your computer, right-click the codec pack and choose "Extract All" to extract the codecs and move the codecs into a folder on your "C:" drive.
The codecs integrate into your computer-based media players automatically.

Get a new player. If you have updated your player and installed all of the available codecs, and video still won't play in the player, the player may just not have the necessary components to play your video files.
Download and install a new player, such as Winamp or the VLC Player, to your system.

Personal Media Players
Find out which video formats your media player accepts.
This information should be provided in the user's guide that came with your player. iPod, for instance, accepts video only in the M4V, MP4 and MOV formats, according to the Apple website.

Convert the video file to a format supported by your personal media player in an online conversion system.
Some online systems that can make video conversions include Movavi Online Convert and YouConvertIt.

Remove the original video file from the media player using the player's software, such as iTunes for iPod devices.
Then, add the new video file to the software library and drag the new file to the device.
Once the video is in the correct format, the codecs in the media player should read the converted video file.

PROBLEM WITH TABLET CRUZ READER R101

To update the firmware you can follow the directions here http://www.ehow.com/how_7890482_update-cruz-reader-firmware.html

I used a similar method when I had my Cruz Reader R101. This process is called "side-loading"
You will have to download a file to your computer (not your tablet), remove the SD media card from your cruz, then transfer the downloaded file from your computer to it, then replace the SD card to your cruz.

Also you can download the user manual here http://www.retrevo.com/support/Velocity-R101-Tablets-manual/id/23894dj696/t/2/ which shows how to remove the card, and this is a great reference to keep on your reader. For example, page 14 shows how to transfer files to and from your reader. Good luck!
