You can drop the toner cover and cheat the door sensor and watch the toner bottle to see if it spins or not. If it doesnt spin- the end result is not good especially if you have a grinding noise. or just the toner bottle not spinning and it asks to replace toner. The back of the machine will have to come off. You will have to remove all the covers and finisher off the front. Then get to the toner add mechanism and take it out. The one gear will probably be sideways because- if the customer put the toner in wrong or maybe the wrong toner in- it will bind and bend that back shaft. thereby screwing it up. It takes a lot of time and parts. First thing you need to do though- is to see if the bottle is spinning or not
the staple unit is located in the finisher where the paper is stacked, check on the top or on the side for a compartment door that pops open. You should see a clear plastic cartridge that slides out where another one can be replaced
Use the "Separate Scan" button on the panel. By pushing this you are telling the scanner that you have separate scans to scan as one document. Once all files are scanned, push the separate scan button again to indicate you are finished scanning.
