Go out and purchase you some LCD tv screen cleaner and use that. It is safe to use on the camera screen, see if that fixes the problem.

Photos I take with this phone have weird garbled spots in the corners and sometimes in the middle, and pictures also are very bright (not just the phones I take with the phone but those too)

Hi,

In the camera options of your phone find the one that says ISO. ISO, in short words, is the sensitivity to light. When set to a higher value, pictures may appear too bright or show weird specs or artifacts. Ideally you should dial this up when in dark conditions and leave it at 100 (or the middle in the gauge of your phone) when light is optimal.

Cheers.

Shutter is stuck open on the digital camera w1200. When i turn it on the shutter goes in a little than tries to go out and it makes this weird loud clicking noise and i cant see a screen and when it is...

I think what you're referring to is the lens assembly not moving in and out correctly. The shutter is inside the camera out of view. Go to this website for possible solutions:

Flip Ultra - freezes at initial Flip screen - will not shut off

I found a fix that worked for mine.
It was doing the same thing, freezing at the "Flip" screen and would not turn off. I did the remove the batteries deal. It worked once but issue reoccured 2 months later and the battery fix didn't fix it.
What did fix it was...
With the camera off, hold down the Right Arrow button and the trash can button at the same time and turn the camera on.
A few seconds later, I was at the start recording screen!!

Good Luck!

Black spots on LCD screen

you need to make sur about something:
the black spot, is it a dead pixels?
if it's not, canon will fix it for you free of charge as it could be a CCD problem.

Off-center

That is weird. Is the lens cocked? Also sometimes when you zoom, you get an "aiming" bracket that is off center that has to do with the spot metering.

Black spot on picture

My Nikon was having the same problem with the stationary black spot. I used a can of Dust Off ( the original compressed gas duster). I just removed the lens and held the camera upside down (lens facing the floor) and blew my compressed air inside and my black spot disappeared. Just a thought you might like to know !! Good luck.
