The kneading blade on my 1171 bread machine (1998) is peeling some varnishy stuff. Is it safe? Do I need a replacement, which I can't find, or is there another machine blade that will fit? ...

No it's deadly poisonous. Only joking!!! Do you really think they would be allowed to use poisonous varnish on a product designed for food use? Just scratch the loose stuff off and it will be fine.

What causes the black oily stuff on brand new expensive spark plugs

Usually a bad ring or seal inside your engine allowing oil to get into the combustion chamber where the tip of the spark plug is located. Do you notice any smoke coming from the exhaust pipe ?? Do you seem to be adding oil more often ?? If so, the black oily stuff is "engine oil".

I have this machine for 4 years now and I was happy with The central shaft does not turn now and I lost all my stuff... It makes the noise like if it works, but nothing happen... and there is a...

Hi.. The "central shaft" could mean the motor shaft is not turning or the "central shaft" could be the paddle shaft in the bread pan is not turning. If it's the motor shaft then tighten or replace belt. Since you "lost all your stuff" it could be the sealed bearing in the bottom of the bread pan has broken. The paddle doesn't turn and is leaking. If this is the case the bread pan needs replacement. Hank

I am getting bits of pieces of silver flaky looking stuff in my bread dough. What is this - stuff from the paddle? The machine is making a high squealing noise?

That is probably the nonstick coating coming off the paddle or your breadpan or both. Are there scratches in your pans or paddles surface where you can see the metal under the non-stick coating? If yes, that is probably what you are seeing in your bread. I would tell you to try to get a new pan and paddle if they are scratched, but if your machine is squealing too then you should try to get a new or good used machine as you would end up spending more on the pan and paddle plus repairs to end the squealing, so you should just replace your whole machine. I have some models that are like new if you are interested in buying one. I would have to go through ebay and sell the almost new/new ones for $40.00 including shipping if you are east of the Mississippi. If you shop on ebay you can get one from me or of course others sell them there too.

Hi ive got a problem with the spark plug and my machine breaks down when im riding it. Then i put a new spark plug in and it works. the spark plug afterwoulds has oily stuff over it. You see the problem is...

Are you sure your fuel mix is correct? I think the mix for that bike is around 1/24-1/26. That is the gallon of gas to the amount of oil added to the gas. Is that bike oil injected maybe? Putting a new plug in tells it's a fuel problem with the "oily" stuff on the old one. Try looking online if you don't have a manual on it. Just look for the gas mixture ratio. But being a two stroke it could get more complicated like the reeds. These are after the carb on the way to the cylinder head. Start with the fuel mix and make sure the gap on the plug terminal is right. You should be able to find that online somewhere too. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR YOUR HELMET AND BOOTS! lol

Dense bread

Try a different recipe--highly recommend The Bread Machine Cookbook by Melissa Clark it may be out of print, but can order from Amazon for less than $3.00. Also, if your bread is too dense, you can try adding a little wheat gluten flour, found in the baking section at most large grocery stores, including Walmart. However, a little of this goes a long way! I never need to add to my white bread, but it is wonderful for whole grain breads as it greatly improves the texture. Wheat gluten is made from the inside of the wheat kernel and is very high in protein, also helps your bread rise, so try starting with one teaspoon for your white bread and use up to one fourth of a cup with whole grain breads. A little of this stuff goes a long way!!!! Do read the introduction in the little paperback cookbook I recommended, it really helped me to understand the hows and whys of breadbaking, and I had to throw away many a loaf, before I read this section of the cookbook.
