I have replaced the clutch on my Neptune Washer (FAV6800AWW) and I steal have the uC code. What you think I need to do?
I would not rush out and buy a Motor Controller just yet. I can’t see any technical reason that would link the Motor Controller to dc/UC error codes related to unbalance condition you experiencing but I could be out in left field. Can you elaborate on your clutch work? New clutch assembly installed ie new clutch pulley, what I call the Spinner Shaft coupler as seen in my clutch repair/replacement post. Did you replace the upper oneway roller clutch bearing if used and the clutch pulley mounted oneway roller clutch bearing? I assume the wash tub is banging around before throwing the UC or dc error can you let me know If you are not throwing dc/UC errors associated with large tub swings? Could you lift the top of the washer and with an empty wash basket start a Spin Only cycle and watch the tumblers closely at the start of the spin cycle. The tumblers should rotate a very small amount as the large wrap spring comes under tension in the clutch pulley with the CCW spin rotation of the wash basket. Those tumblers should not rotate more than 1/8 of a turn as the wash basket starts the spin cycle with CCW rotation. Can you verify the tumbler rotation action for me as spin cycle starts?
Did you check the Tub Displacement Sensor? It’s in the Service Manual. If you haven’t can you give this a quick check?
3.0 Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.
It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the SM.
3a. Enter the Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”
3b. Press the Super Wash key display reads “in”…something like that.
3c. Press Delicates the Display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).
3d. Push tub to the back right corner of the machine the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).
3e. Press Hand Wash.
3f. Pull tub to the front left corner while pushing the tub down the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). If you get these results your Tub Displacement sensor should be OK and I believe it’s not the component failure producing dc/UC errors in spin cycle. I would remove the clutch for inspection and re-lube. There is a more technical troubleshooting method to check Tub Displacement Sensor in the Troubleshooting guide and Service manual.
Let me know if I can help. Rich
HI. this uc code represents a no spin state of the unit. this is caused by a faulty Motor control assembly. you will need to replace the Motor control assembly. this will fix this issue and, restore the normal actions of the unit.
This Motor control assembly will cost about $219.00.

Continuous Unbalanced Circuit.
Improper signal from Tub
Displacement Sensor.
Wet Clothes
• Very small clothes loads can cause unbalanced
loads - add additional towels.
• Excessive suds may have been present.
• Check Tub Displacement Sensor connection and
main harness connector at machine control board.
• Check Tub Displacement Sensor for 0 to 3.0 Volts
DC output voltage between ground and the board
input. Check for 12 Volts DC input voltage between
the ground and the board output. Only check for
voltage at the Tub Displacement Sensor. Do not
perform a continuity check. See Tub Displacement
Diagnostics
• Excessive motion was detected in spin Run Quick
Spin Test with an empty tub to check Tub
Displacement Sensor and machine control board.
• Check for restricted drain system.
Applies to the UC unbalance code also.

In the Sticky: Neptune TL Washer FAV6800AWW 5 post down you will find a link to the Service Manual. You absolutely need the Service Manual to DIY issues with the machine. It's not the best SM but will get you started. I also have repair post in that sticky to help with the most common issues that I have helped owners with. I'm an owner of a FAV6800AWW top load machine.
In that Sticky I discuss what is the cause of DC or UC unbalance errors and the fix.
