Stock photos and ringtones

To delete text messages you go into your indox under "messages", highlight the message you would like to delete, press the menu key and select delete.
Your "memory low" message keeps coming up because your memory not only holds your messages but EVERYTHING else as well.....pics, games, ringtones, etc. Try getting rid of things you don't need to gain more space. You might want to look into getting a SD card if your phone is capable. Hope this helps you. :)

A couple of things could b set wrong. First, make sure you're volume is turned up. Flip phone open and push the top button on left to raise the volume. Second, open phone, go to menu, cursor to settings, sounds, call ringtone, single tone. Now cursor down thru the selections to pick a ringtone. Make sure the "no ring" selection is not selected. (The current selection will have a check mark on the right side.) Select the tone you want and push the center button to save it. You can then select all your other ring tones, such as message alerts the same way.

no...but it can also use as ringtones .mp3,avv,wma as well

motorola phone tools is not required. You can use the device plug and play just like any removeable drive. if you connect the phone via usb or bluetooth you shoudl be able to go to my computer and access the new removeable drive to drag and drop files between the phone and computer.
Motorola phone tools is synchronizatiuon software. It allows you to synch up your outlook calander and address book with the phone as well as stransfer files and create ringtones. costs about $30.00 though

You will need motorola phonetools and a usb cable that fits the pc and the phone. You can buy them together from most providers, but it is a lot cheaper to but the cable from Wal Mart or Staples and the disk from your provider. It enables you to edit ringtones, pictures, walpapers, and backup your phonebook. But verizion and sprint disable phonetools from being used on their phones. They don't want you making your own ringtones.
