SOURCE: how to program and delete uniden bearcat scanner 210 XWneed to c

I can't locate information specific to the 210XW, but hopefully this generic Bearcat programming info will help:

1. Press the MANUAL key to advance to the channel that you wish to reprogram.

2. Enter the new frequency, including decimal point.

3. Press the ENTER or E key.

4. Start over with step one to continue programming channels.

I have a Bearcat Scanner (Uniden Bearcat BC145X) how do I set up the chainals

The BC350 is a pre-programmed scanner. You cannot program it in the usual manner (direct keyboard entry of each frequency), but you can transfer displayed frequencies in the SCAN or SEARCH mode to a PRIVATE bank. Detailed instructions for operating your scanner are in the factory manual which you can download and print, at no cost, here:
http://www.uniden.com/pdf/BC350Com.pdf

Uniden bearcat scanner BC148XLT-1 Can't program it because it is locked out

Try manually unlocking each channel by selecting it and then pressing the LOCKOUT key. That will normally clear the channel for programming. If that doesn't fix the problem, power the scanner OFF, then press and hold the MANUAL, 2, and 9 keys while powering the unit ON. That should restore the scanner to its original factory settings.

I have a uniden bearcat scanner model#bc148xlt and it seems to not want to take the local frequencys and it comes up error when you hit the enter or e button

You didn't mention what frequencies you're trying to program. BC148XLT coverage ends at 512 MHz, so you will get the error message if you try to program anything above that. Also, you must be sure to include the decimal point when programming a frequency into the scanner. I hope this helps.

Need to know how to put codes in

If your scanner is the BC350C (the section you posted in), here's a link to the owner's manual which will give you detailed programming information:

http://www.uniden.com/pdf/BC350Com.pdf

If you have a different model Bearcat scanner, try:

1. Push MANUAL to stop scanning and advance to the channel that you want to program.

2. Enter the desired frequency, including the decimal point (e.g., 156.015).

3. Press E or ENTER to set the frequency.

4. Repeat the process, starting with 1 above to select the channel.

NOTE: With some Bearcat scanners you may need to press the E or ENTER key before entering your frequency.

These are general steps that work on most recent Bearcat models. If they don't work on yours, try different variations. You can also check Uniden.com -- they may have an online manual that you can download and print.
