HI! base in your complaint and explanations! i find the problem is the
motor belt... maybe this is too loose belt... you can replaced a
new one replacement belt... and make sure when you replace the belt is the same size in the original!
usually goes in a 'Z' type shape. around drum to around motor drive, then push spring loaded wheel towards motor drive and hook belt over that for tension. of course this is all done by feel for the most part because you cannot see well while trying to put it on. good luck
the motor is spring loaded - move lift motor towrards the cabinet lining to the right. Put band around drum and pully at rear of motor then allow motor to move back onto band to cause the tension
you have to open back panel of dryer as well as the top. there will be a spring connected to the motor assembly. unlatch it, check your belt to see if it needs to be replaced. if cracked, replace. latch spring and belt should have tension.
yes you can replace the belt tentioner . disconnect capacitor wires remove the spring off the motor slip the belt behind the pulley so the motor can move round. remove the rear fan cover ( screw and retaining clips) this to allow pulley to be slid off. fit new tentioner pulley and pull belt in front of pulley refit spring to motor down to cabinet.reconnect capacitor. refit fan cover.125 01 25-20/8 is part no for one of 12 variations of this model use the product no to get the right part 916xxxxxx
Remove the complete rear panel of m/c if it is a washer dryer, you will see the drum pulley in the center, and the motor pulley is at the top of the m/c
Put belt round motor pulley first, and feed belt round drum pulley.
If it is a washer on its own, remove the small center cover at rear of washer, and remove top cover also.
Put belt round motor pulley first and carefully feed belt round drum pulley, you will find this easier to do if you unhook the rear retaining spring.
Please leave a fixya rating for my solution.
Thanks.
You shouldn't need to most of the time all you need is a 15mm wrench. Use it by turning the spring tightener inward toward the center of the motor than the belt should come off. Also when you take it off make sure you know how the belt goes around the pulleys so everything will work together like normal. when putting the belt on you should use the wrench to turn the tightener back inward and slip the belt back on and make sure it looks just like the old one when its on.
the best way i can tell you is open the back put the belt on the motor then visually pull the tension pulley back and put the belt on the tension back on the belt. if you are changing the belt you must touch the spring.let me know how it goes.
belts do not figure 8
they look something like this
the front panel comes off, to access the drum without removing bearings etc, and the belt can be placed easily, around the drum and motor pulley.
then pull the tensioner hard against its spring, loop the belt around the tensioner and allow the spring to tension the belt.
