Sennheiser c175 earphones

I wore my earphones to walk to work - all fine...left work and plugged them in my ears and the sound was really muffled?? Even with volume at full I could barely hear what was playing. I have checked them and cannot see any wax build up (I clean them regularly to try to avoid build up)....can you help as I have no idea why they are playing up?!

SOURCE: left ear does not work (very very weak sound)

try a regular cheap set of headphones on that device .If its the same ,then the audio device is the problem.Or try those sets of headphones on another audio device , computer,tv,cd or stereo receiver. If you are using any kind od adaptor inbetween those headphones and the audio device ,then check that..If they sound the same on any known good device..Then its possible they are bad ..let me know

Well if you really dont want to buy new head phones , go to best buy. Or look up on google who fixes earphones and where they fix them at. But i highly suggest you to get a new pair of ear phones.

I have had a pair of sennheiser earphones for years but recently they have started to loose certain sound pitches e.g. vocals and some times the base goes a bit muffled. this only happens when the...

It's likely the groud connection in the cable is broken. Possibly at the plug, it would mean no centre focus and no bass as the headphones get only out of phase sounds. I'm guessing you've tried them in another device - a faulty sockey would do the same.

Sennheiser mm200 totally dead

Well I have had the same problem as well, twice really. The first one got replaced by Sennheiser, very good service. Unfortunately about a year later the same problem, I am waiting now what they will do with this. I really like the little earphones but I need them to work. Untill now I have had great service which of course comes with the quality of the name.
