Is there a fan inside the freezer compartment to direct cold air to the fridge? Check it's working. If not fanned, check rear wall of fridge. If not cold, unit may be short of gas.

SOURCE: Warm fridge, cold freezer

I had the same problem. There was tons of ice build-up in the freezer back wall which prevented the cold air from flowing into the refrigerator section. I removed all the products from the freezer, and melted the ice - even took off the back panel (lots of ice back there). It solved the problem.

My fridge is warm but freezer is cold, the box on inside of fridge top left corner is not working. What is name of that box?

All questions need full 'make model (what it is)' please.

Do you have a freezer at the top and a fridge below it? That box is just a cold air vent from the freezer. There is often a circulating fan in there, but it could be elsewhere.

The issue with a warm fridge and a cold freezer is that the defrost for the freezer has failed and the evaporator is a solid lump of ice and not passing chilled air, OR, the vent is boked with ice. The is a defrost timer and a heater element at the rear of the freezer back panel.

If the refrigerator freezer is cold but the refrigerator is warm, the defrost thermostat might be defective. Several times a day the defrost heater turns on for a few minutes to melt away any frost that may have accumulated on the evaporator coils.Mar 3, 2015

Emerson compact fridge with freezer compartment freezer is very cold fridge nothing just warm is there any fan to blow air>> thanks

Your freezer fan unit may be frozen behind the inside wall and therefore not circulating the cold air down.
Se if you can remove the screws and back wall to check the fan unit.
Not all modeles can be repaired this way

Kenmore classic bottom freezer refrigeration warm but freezer is cold

I would guess you have just caused a build up of ice to block the air way, which normally takes cold air into the fridge. manually defrost (unplug and wait until the ice goes away) then restart and it should be fine

if you can; find the vent(s) between the top and, bottom boxes (where the evaporator fan is located: closing these vents makes the freezer colder and, the refrigerator warmer, opening these vents the reverse is true.

Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it to run. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages.

Freezer is too cold (-14 degrees) and fridge is too warm (51 degrees). The freezer keeps gettting colder but the fridge part keeps getting warmer.

The temp sensor for the freezer may be reading the warm air in the fridge so is not cutting the compressor off.

GE TFX26KRDA WW 2001 side by side refrig/freezer w warm fridge

Cleaned the condenser coils which were dusty but not severely so. Checked the evaporator coils which were NOT iced. Reset the fridge to coldest setting and freezer to #5 (mid range of temperature) and waited a full 36 hours. Fridge temp is 40 F and freezer is about 0F. Not sure what is different except coldest setting on fridge. Warm weather is here but not warm enough to require AC. Temps in late afternoon in house about 77-80F. Any thoughts are appreciated because I suspect this problem is not completely resolved.

Fridgidare, freezer cold fridge warm

sounds like you may have gotten a refridgerant leak causing a low charge condition. some refridgerators have a evaporator fan if this quit working it will cause it to freeze up .thus the freezer does not use a fan and it will still get cold
