Dear AT&T. I can't
Clarify your question.... we are here to help, but when you make no sense....we dont read minds.
If you changed from one to another, the other should have supplied you with wifi. Sell the first one. Use the new one. This is all I can say, unless your make some sense.
Try re-booting the router/cable box from Time Warner, and make sure WiFi is on, and make sure WiFi is on on your Note 3: it should re-connect to the internet automatically.
Below is a link for User Manuals for Time Warner Cable Routers: Wireless Routers
No to warner's locking the modem. 192.168.0.1 is the correct address for accessing the options within the modem. incidentally the Motorola wireless modem works better. Go on line to Netgear technical service and they will guide you through the task of setting up the system.
How do I log in?
Initial access to TWC WiFi requires the user provide log in
credentials that identify the user as a current, qualified TWC
Residential or Business Class customer. Credentials can either be a TWC
ID and Password or Time Warner Cable email and password.
First, make sure you are within range of a TWC WiFi Hotspot and that the WiFi feature on your mobile device is turned on.
Select TWCWiFi from available wireless networks.
Open your browser. The TWC WiFi Connection page will appear.
If you're a Standard Internet customer or above, enter your credentials. You can either use your TWC ID or your Time Warner Cable email and password.
If you're not a Standard Internet customer or above, request a 30-minute free trial or purchase a TWC Access Pass for as little as $2.95/hour.
Accept the Terms of Use, click Submit and connect.
You need to call Time Warner and tell them that you need to activate your modem. I had to do this when I switched modems for Comcast, so this should solve the problem.
