I've lost my Lisence key For Windows XP Home Eddition service pack3, is it possible to recover it?
Yes you can find it in the registry of windows....Simple.
Yes, you can recover it, as long as it is still installed on your computer. Your Microsoft Product Key is stored in the computer's registry, and can be obtained easily by using a program called Belarc Safety Advisor. It is a free download, which can be obtained at http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
I have used this program to obtain my product keys for Windows 7, and according to their website, the software works on Windows XP as well. When you run the program, it will generate a list of software on your computer and their product keys. Just look for Windows XP in the list (the key will have five sets of five characters, like XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX). I hope this helps!
If the computer is still running. The is a utility called ProduKey that you can download for free. Run it on the computer i question and you will see the license key and it will allow you to print it. If the computer is no longer running, I would upgrade to windows 7 (which can run XP apps) and you will struggle a lot less.
I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/thomas_b83e841f114394f4

I cannot tell you how to get your license key for XP. But, I wanted to tip you off that Microsoft has discontinued support for the XP operating system... That means that you really need to switch over to Windows 7 or 8 if you intend to use the internet. Your XP will continue to run fine until you get viruses in your computer.. I recommend abandoning your XP system in an orderly fashion... and updating it to Windows 7 or 8 . . . OR, if it's an older computer, maybe it's time to get yourself a new computer that comes with Windows 7 or 8. Windows XP, for all practical purposes, is ka-poot... It'll continue to work for some time. It's not going to just stop... The question is, "Are the hackers going to take advantage of the lack of support for XP to really bombard XP computers with bad stuff.... and how much and how soon."
Good luck...
No problem. Who ever installed it placed the sticker on the back of the machine. If it is pre installed the it is still on there too.
My suggestion is for you to purchase the disk that comes with your PC, if intended to use belarc advisor, not all computers support this software for product keys.
If the system that used that particular product key is still running, you can use
ProduKey Recover lost product key CD Key of Windows MS Office SQL Server to pull the key from the system.
Was this originally installed on your computer or did you buy a different disk? If it is the original software installed on your computer. The product key is located on the back of your computer with a windows sticker. If not you will need to download third party software like http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html and once you have installed and ran the software you will able to see your product key of windows. This will be displayed in your internet browser along with a lot of other useful information. :)
Download belarc advisor. run it. print the results. all of the keys will be in the results.
Hi ,
If W XP is still running on your unit , you can easily recover the licence key with this simple tool : WinKeyFinder http://www.winkeyfinder.com/download/winkeyfinder/Win-KeyFinder-1.73-Final/
Regards .
If you computer have a OEM (included with the computer) license, you can contact the seller and ask for a copy. if you did buy your license separately you can call the Microsoft support phone line and using the personal data used to activate Windows and the purchase proof they can give you a copy.

Yes there is an small application called show key Use that. U can get all the keys of the programs installed in Your computer
If your system is still running you can retrieve it by using a Freeware program called SIW or SIWportabe.
Depends on a lot of things. Is this a brand name computer or one someone built for you? If it's not a proprietary machine (Dell, HP, etc), you can download a program called Keyfinder from www.download.com. Just run it and up will pop your key. This doesn't work on Dells because they install with a generic key. On the other hand, you don't really NEED the key because it will activate fine without it. You might have to back up all of your data, get a new Windows XP disc, and re-install. Is there a restoration partition on your hard drive? Sometimes with that, you can activate legitimately without the key. Again, you have to back up your data, and there's no guarantee it will work.
More important, though, are you absolutely certain you want to run Windows XP anymore? Most computers that will run XP will also run Windows 7, which is still supported by Microsoft and is FAR more secure. I know... I loved XP too, but I have upgraded all of my computers, even the older ones to Windows 7. Any secure data I want to send on the Internet has at least a chance of being secure. Hackers are less likely to "get" you, and it's not a difficult transition.
Check eBay. It can be had fairly inexpensively.
It's really a good idea to hang onto that key. I'd like to say I've never lost one, but if I hadn't, I wouldn't have been able to suggest even these suggestions. Good luck.
Magic Jellybean finder - it works! Run on PC that has xp installed. It works with xp, 2003, 2008, vista, win7, win8, server2012, etc...
You can try Belarc advisor (free). Recover-Key software works good (but it is a paid software).

SOURCE: Lost Product Key for Windows XP Service Pack 2 Installation cd
The product key is on the folder in which the genuine software disk was shipped to the buyer. MS Service Packs do not change the key nor should they require you to reinstall the key.
You have a pirated version of XP software and even with a key it will not pass Microsoft validation. It will be quickly disabled by Microsoft and you'll be left with a black screen.
You need to get a valid copy of the software.
