I can only tell you that it is a Mfr Controlled Aux Emiss Cntrls and I believe the EGR might be part of the problem here. This code seems to appear in correlation to the Cylinder Misfires as well. Probably need to replace the EGR or clean it and do an induction service as well.

How to remove the car stereo from 2007 Chevy Colorado

This is not hard but tricky because the trim plate around the radio has clips that hold the trim plate very tight.Use a plastic type flat tool or flat screw driver wraped with tape or a shop rag to avoid damage to the plastic trim and pry the trim panel around the radio loose. remove all elec connectors.Then remove the screws that hold the radio in place and remove all elec connectors.
