Have you looked at the DM board fix yet that's available here. http://www.fixya.com/howto/h154057-mitsubishi_dm_board_repair Check it out. If the inside of your TV set does not look like this, you will need to get the service manual to disassemble the set and get to the DM board, but use the rest of the guide to repair the board. If you are successful, you will save almost a 1000 bucks! Good Luck

SOURCE: mitsubishi WS-55513 won't turn on

from what i know thru extensive research.....and i mean alot the dm board (as in the whole thing) is not all bad its thecapacitors on the dm board that are supposably cheap O'z if you know what i mean. there should be 4 of them. you can buy the replacemnets from radio shack for about 8.50. if you know someone who is handy with a soildering iron, or a freelace electically type then ask them if they can put the new ones on for you. the correct one you need are -40 degrees to +85 degrees Celceus...tolerance +20%, now this is important 1000microfarad.... now these capacitors cant be less than 16V they can be over but not under.... typical brand to get is xicon....you have to remove the dm board which is in a metal shield once the back part of the television is removed you will see it cause it looks like it should be in a computer. but apparently this is typical and its a very simple fix but everyone that is capable to fix it want to bend you over and do you dry....mitsubishi should be ashamed of themselves for not correcting this themselve and offering help with cost.. hope this helps guys!

SOURCE: i recently was given a mitsubishi ws-55511 55 in

First you can try pushing the reset button located on front of tv where power button is located. If that fails to correct the problem then I would suspect the DM module has failed. They are not available for replacement. Some shops rebuild them by replacing the defective capacitors with some success others might send it to a company such as PTS to be rebuilt also with some success. Repair prices will vary from 275.00 - 375.00 depending on your location

Mi mitsubishi 55859 has flashing green light that won't stop flashing and tv won't turn on

Bad digital/power module. Difficult repair. Have an authorized shop pull module and ship to Mitsubishi for rebuild. Many many caps are bad inside, and probably bad digital board. Factory service is recommended.

The green light keeps flashing and the tv will not turn off or on

It seems that your unit has some sort of PSU fault, or a problem that is shutting down the Power Supply Unit, PSU. This happens so that no further damage, and possible fire will occur.

You need to take the unit to a reputable service centre/man and ask for a firm "Quote" for the work to be done.

We moved the ws-55909 television and now all we get is the green flashing light. reset does not make any difference. what to do? Craig

If this unit is 7-9 years old it probably has a DM that has failed. Unfortunately they are NLA. Give Mitsubishi a call to comfirm this at 1800-553-7278 (Parts Dept.). If they will not help you try, 1800-332-2119 (Customer Service).
Hope this helps,

Mitsubishi WS-55909 dm board repair

I have a mitsubishi 48" integrated 1080. The Timer green light keeps blinking. I have no picture. Can this be the fuse? My coworkers say this might be the problem. Can I replace it myself? If so, where is it located?

Mitsubishi ws 55909

Have you tried pressing in the menu and input/device buttons both in together on the front of the set and hold them both in together for 5 seconds to see if the set will blink a two digit error code? Try that and then let me know if it blinked a code. Please reply to this same post when replying. Thanks
